It's almost been a whole term since the Luke incident and I haven't been attending school partially out of fear. I got Max to call the principal as dad and tell them I'm sick so they won't have to call on their own to find out. Although my guard is still up, everything seems less stressful with Wyatt here.

He has been doing a great job at keeping my mind off of Luke, majorly because what's been on my mind is how to avoid him well enough, now more than ever that he's joining my school today.

Jesus take the wheel

Right before leaving the house, Mom told me that I should show Wyatt around the school like he's some kind of child that'll get lost without help.

I wish he gets lost

Hehehehe

As I have said before, I love being fashionably late so I waited till 5 minutes before the start of first period before coming out of Dad's new Porsche although our chauffeur drove us to school about 45 minutes ago. When I hear the warning bell, I walk out of the car and into the already empty hallway.

I take small strides to my class and guess who I see standing helplessly in the hallway... Wyatt. He looks completely lost while holding a piece of paper in his hand. I walk up to him about to ask if he needs help and immediately he sees me he breaths a sigh of relief.

"Oh, Wyatt... You seem lost, do you need any help." I say plainly so he'll get the idea that I'm not doing it off my own will.

"Oh, yes please, I don't know where my class is, can you help me get to class before class starts." He said.

"Okay, hand it over." I stated referring to the piece of paper in his hand. I stretched my hand out and he placed the piece of paper on it. I looked through the paper, it was just his schedule for the day and his classroom name.

Wait a minute,

His classroom is...

Class 10-A

That's my class for God's sake,

How will I avoid him now if he's my classmate?

Ughhh, I'll have to think of a plan B.

I looked at my watch and ...

Uh oh, we have just 30 seconds before first period starts.

I immediately grabbed Wyatt's hand and ran towards class. I cannot be late on my first day back to school. "Follow me." I said before running faster. Immediately we entered the class, Ms. Williams walked in and then the bell rang.

Oh thank God we weren't late today.

"Settle down class, bring out your chemistry books and turn to page... Oh wait, hold on a second, Ava you're back in school? Hope you're feeling better now?" She asked and I nodded in response.

"And, oooohhhhh, who is this fine piece of eye candy." Ms. Williams stated while biting her lip and running one of her fingers across Wyatt's chest making him shirt uncomfortably.

"Ava, won't you introduce your friend to the class?" She winked at me and my mind went all foggy.

"Um... Uh... This is... Uh... My Wy-" and I slapped my hand over my mouth to shut myself up out of embarrassment.

Did I just say my?

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh

I turned to Wyatt for some kind of help whatsoever but he was just staring at our hands intertwined together and I tried to separate them on impact but he tightened his grip on my hand silently warning me not to try it and I groaned in frustration.
