"Hey Wyatt?" I asked in a calm voice few minutes into the drive.

"Hmm?" He hummed in response, briefly glancing at me before looking back at the road like the good driver he is.

"Is it suspicious if two people have the same tattoo, in the same exact place, in the same colour, in the same size and have a weird handshake and codenames for each other?" I asked very curiously, thinking back on yesterday's events.

"I don't think so. Why?" He asked, slowing down his speed in case it's making me anxious as I hesitated to speak.

"Well, Luke had-"

"Okay, that's where I'm gonna cut you off. No more Luke talk okay?"

"But it's-"

"Uh uhn. No buts. Am I understood?" He said in a commanding voice, making me nod my head slightly and hang it low, feeling like it would be important but can't say nothing more.

I stayed quiet most of the ride to wherever we were going.

I could sense the tension we had yesterday morning on the way to the airport coming back and it was that kind of uncomfortable silence.

The kind that will make you feel awkward. Even too awkward to try and break the silence.

Soon, Wyatt decided to be the bigger person and spoke first.

"Would you like to listen to music?" He asked, with a cough at the back of this throat and I shrugged, still not lifting my gaze from my thigh.

He then placed a hand on my thigh, with the other still on the steering wheel, making me stare at his hand for a few seconds as he moved it up and down in a repetitive motion.

He slowed the car down even more as I slowly raised up my head. I tried my best not to make my real emotions visible in my eyes and just put on my best fake smile.

He didn't buy it.

He frowned the instant he saw my face, finally stopping the car at the side of the road, and stared straight into my eyes.

In his seductively deep voice he said, "I can read you like a book Y'know. What's wrong. You're off for some reason." He looked deeper into my pools of caramel as I looked into his pools of jade. It was like we were having a mental battle at this point.

Like he was trying to figure out what was going on in my mind and I was trying to shut him out.

Not fun tbh.

"It's nothing, I'm fine. Continue driving, why'd you stop?" I asked, trying to change the topic instantly as the tension became heavier by the second.

"Not until you tell me what's wrong." He reasoned, continuing to rub my thigh in a soothing manner.

I was about to open my mouth to speak but he cut me off and spoke first. "Y'know I'm here if there's anything bothering you, just tell me, I'm a great listener." He tried to assure me, but I didn't want him to get angry the second I mention Luke's name again.

"But you told me you didn't want to hear about him." I said, with a little bit of sadness dripping off my tone.

"If that's what's bothering you then go ahead, I won't judge I promise." He said calmly, looking straight into my eyes, making me break eye contact and fiddle with his sweatshirt that was on my upper half.

I know talking about Luke would make him feel a bit possessive or something like that so I don't want to talk about him, but I can't get the thought off my mind.

Wyatt placed his index under my chin, lifting my face up so he could have a better look into my eyes, something he does whenever he tries to read my mood, and smiled reassuringly like he could read my mind and was telling me to go ahead even though.
