"Now we have come to the end of today's class, let me remind all of you about the field trip that has been organized for the weekend, we'll be visiting visiting Art Museums in Paris and Italy, so make sure you get your permission form signed before the end of tomorrow. Bye class." Mrs. Kavinsky, our Arts teacher said right before the bell for break rang and she walked out of the class.

If I heard her properly then that means we'll be going on a field trip this weekend.

OMG

Well it's not like I haven't been to Paris and Italy before, but going there with the whole class is going to be fun.

I walked out of the class with my bag across one of my shoulders.

'Maybe I can have Max sign the permission form on Mom and Dad's behalf since they're always busy with work.' I thought to myself, heading towards Max's supposed class.

I don't really know, I've never been to his class before so I wouldn't know

Don't judge me

As I stepped into the class full of seniors, I could feel all eyes on me.

What's with the unnecessary attention I've been getting now a days?

A tall boy with Jet black hair walked up to me with his eyebrows perked in question. "What are you doing here Sophomore?" He said with an extremely deep voice, but not as deep as Max's tho.

"I'm looking for my brother Max." I said back boldly, not fearing any single one of them and the boy chuckled deeply.

"Max? Max Hayes? Is that the Max your talking about?" He asked with a hint of amusement in his tone making my eyebrows perk up on its own, for the first, making me mentally do a victory dance.

"Yes that Max, do you know where he is?" I asked confused by the guys previous tone making him chuckle again.

That actually made my blood boil ngl

Is he laughing at me?

He better not be

"So that means your Ava Hayes huh?" He asked making me nod in response. He continued, "How do I put it as simply as possible Ava, Max isn't in school today. In fact he hasn't been coming to school since last term. I thought maybe you both changed schools but I guess it's only him." He said laughing this time. "How do you not know that your brother isn't in school?" The senior asked and I just shrugged and walked out of the class already fed up of the guys annoying voice.

I kept the form in my bag and went to the Cafeteria for lunch.

"When I get home, Max it's me and you." I said out loud to myself right before walking into the Cafeteria.

"Maxxxxxx!!!!!!" I yelled the moment I walked into the house expecting a response of some sort but got none.

That agitated me and I ran up the stairs, and barged into his room without knocking to find him and a random girl making out.

Not like I haven't caught him before so it isn't a big deal.

"Out." I ordered the girl coldly but calmly in case either Mom and Dad aren't in their room. The girl simply stood up of Max's bed holding a clutch purse that looked identical to mine but I didn't push and she was out of here.

"Who gave you that authority t-"

"Since when aren't you in Pacific Oaks High school with me huh Max?" I asked in a duh tone with my arms crossed over my chest making his eyes widen for a brief second before he comported himself and stood up to walk over to me while I just stood there staring at him waiting for an answer.
