"Wyatt???!!!" I shouted surprised.

"Ava?" He shouted almost at the same time.

We just stared at each other for God knows how long before a lady's voice was audible to my ears.

"Wyatt you already know her?" A pretty lady asked him, probably his mother and he nodded in response still looking at me with a shocked expression. Not long after a smirk was plastered on his face. 'I did say I'll see you around.' He mouthed while looking at me and I couldn't help but blush. Wow trice in one day, this guy is really something.

"How, when... How?" His mother asked not understanding how we already know each other even before the welcome dinner.

Wyatt was about to open his mouth to speak but I responded first making him close him mouth.

"Well ma'am, We met at a coffee shop today and talked a little, well it was more of him talking tho but..." I said the last part more in a whisper but it's like everyone heard me because they all had their eyebrows perked up, well all but Wyatt, his smirk just grew wider because I just admitted to what he had said earlier today.

"Oh nothing." I blurted out and tightened my grip on Max's arm letting him know how uncomfortable I was at the moment. He just coughed making everyone shift their gazes from me to him and I just sighed in relief and quietly thanked him.

"Why don't we get this dinner started. I know you all have been waiting for us to get here before we all start so now that we are here let's begin shall we?" Max said firmly loosing all essence of playfulness in his tone that he once had for me a while ago and put on his poker face.

I couldn't stop myself from staring at Wyatt the whole time. He was staring back at me with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

Odd

I swear he was as confused as me before so why does he look like he's about to burst into laughter.

"Yes yes." Mom said sitting down at the dinner table. I finally broke eye contact with Wyatt and looked at the other people sitting here as well. Max and I walked over to our seats and got settled for dinner. Mom doesn't really like us talking while we're eating so she nicely asked our neighbours to introduce themselves so we can get together to know them better and after they're done we'll do the same.

A man sitting beside Wyatt's Mom, probably his dad stood up boldly and started.

"Thank you so much for inviting us over today we're very grateful. Actually, my wife and I were really wondering if the neighbourhood would be loving and welcoming to us and our family but I guess we got our answer now." The man chuckled a little making his wife smile. He continued.

"My name is Andrew Miller and I'm the man of my house." He smiled making his wife smile even more.

"That's a lovely name." Mom chirped in having a smile on her face and Mr Miller held his hands together as a thank you.

"Well, as my husband already said, we were actually thinking if moving here would be a bad idea because one of the things our family loves are welcoming neighbours and I'm very grateful to God for leading us here to you guys."

"Me too." Wyatt who was sitting right in front of me whispered so only I could hear it and I blushed, again, but can you blame me? If you were seeing the same sculpted masterpiece I'm seeing then you'd be doing the same thing.

"My name is Gloria Miller and I'm the wife of Andrew Miller and the mother of these two beautiful children sitting here right now." She said gingerly with a huge smile on her face.

Wait did she say two? How on earth did I not notice the person sitting on Wyatt's right? It was a girl. A pretty girl too. She looked like she was around Max's age so what a win for him. She has pretty blonde hair with length reaching her ass.
