Galar Cave adventures part 2: Unforeseen Trouble

Ash, Liko, and Roy keep exploring the galar cave they visited and thought the place where black rayquaza went according to Gym Leader Kabu.

But right now, they cannot find anything related to black rayquaza at all, let alone Black Rayquaza at all.

"Still no luck at all."

"Darn, we have been searching all over this mining cave even took some detours three times."

"Should we continue?"

"Yea-"

"Ash... Roy..."

They heard Liko voice, but as soon as they turned towards her, they saw Liko body slumped forward while she took a breath heavily.

Unlike Ash and Roy who has a really high amount of Stamina, Liko has a considerable amount of stamina but not to the point she could follow both boys everywhere.

Finally both of Liko's legs gave up on her as the girl fall down to the ground only with her hand supporting her.

"Ouch!"

"Liko!"

Ash run back towards Liko, kneel down beside her to check on her with Sprigatito looked at her in worry.

"Are you okay?"

"I-I guess so..."

Ash helped positioned Liko sitting on the ground and tried to check the condition of said girl. When he touch her ankle, Liko winced in pain.

"Don't tell me..." Ash proceed to check her leg only to find out that Liko had sprained both of her legs.

"That looks quite bad there." Roy flinched a bit when he saw the swollen red part on Liko's legs.

Ash look back to his girlfriend, "Liko, how did you get both of your ankles hurt like this?"

"I'm sorry, i tried to push myself to keep up with you two. I just don't want to drag both of you down and decide just to keep up with both of you."

Ash sighed, "Liko, we can just take a break if you asked us, you know." He turns to Roy, "We will take a break for now, i will try to tend her ankles."

"I don't mind! Although kind of feel bad for Liko."

Ash then opened his bag and took out some bandages and a potion spray for Liko's ankles. While that happened, Roy want to play with Fuecoco after realizing this might be her moment with Ash so he didn't want to third wheel.

As he spray some potion on Liko's sprained ankles, Liko flinched and whimpered when that happened.

"Hold it together Liko, i'll make sure your ankle will be good as new."

"O-Okay..."

Liko watch as the boy tend her sprained ankle. Liko could tell that Ash already taking care something like this before they even met.

Want to avoid unnecessary and uncomfortable silence, Liko shift into asking him, "Ash, do you ever got injured like this before?"

As he start to cover the ankle of Liko's right leg, he replied, "Well, i did once sprained my ankle too when saving Serena after she accidentally slide through a cliff after going out of a forest."

"I see..."

"But... That wasn't even the worst thing i ever experienced."

Liko looked at the boy, and a bit of curiousity made the girl asked again, "W-What do you mean, Ash?"

"There were the times back in my Journey, that i litteraly died."

Liko eyes widened in shock and fear has plastered around her face.
