3rd month...
Atlanta, Georgia

Cough, Cough... "Come on Angel. You gotta take your medicine baby." Fatima huffed defeatedly.

Angel shakes his head. "Please." Angel shakes his head again, making a disgusted face. "Dat nasey." he mumbled then coughed again.

"Give him to me, Fatima." Amanda said, with her arms outstretched. "You go ahead to work and school baby. He'll be just fine." taking Angel from Fatima.

"Ms. Amanda, I don't know how I'm going to be able to focus on either with him being this sick." Fatima whined.

"The doctor already said he'll be ok. I need you to believe that." Amanda reiterated. "And besides, Angel knows better than to try Grandma Manie, right Angel." she said with a warning tone.

Angel whips his head in Amanda's direction then back at Fatima. "Angel duood boy." he mumbled then coughed while covering his mouth to not spread germs.

Fatima laughs...

When the grandparents decided to take the kids away to Universal Studios, Angel found out first hand that "Team Grandma" wasn't to be played with in no shape, fashion, or form.

Grandma Bev and Grandma Manie on different occasions during their trip had to get Angel together. Even though Angel still had his moments, he now knows not to play those types of games when it comes to his Grandma's. Because they're going to get him every time.

"Ok." Kissing him on the cheek. "Thanks again Ms. Amanda for watching him, I really can't afford to have both of them sick right now."

"It's totally fine Baby. Go out and be great." she told Fatima, as Fatima gave Angel another kiss then waved goodbye.

45 minutes later...
Everwell Medical Associates

"Hello Fatima." Fatima looks up from the nursing desk, "Hello Dr. Wallace." she spoke dryly.

"Damn, it's like that Beautiful?..." "Dr. Wallace for the 100th time. I'm married and don't wish to entertain anything you have going on..." "Boy didn't I tell ya to stay away from MY assistant. She ain't come to see you Otis...Now GIT!!!" Dr. Jeff blurted angrily at his almost "ex" colleague, coming up behind him after seeing a patient.

Dr. Wallace backs away with his hands up in defeat. "Alright, Alright. I can take a hint." "Clearly you can't..." Dr. Jeff and Fatima uttered, as she rolled her eyes and shook her head, getting back to work.

"I can't wait to leave this place..." "I can't wait for you to leave here either Mr. Jeff. He's such a creep." Fatima muttered.

"Yeah, he's one of the reasons why I'm leaving and thank you for helping me Fatima. You've been God sent..." "I thank you for the opportunity to be under your leadership Dr. Jeff. This is truly an honor." She praised him.

Dr. Jeff smiles. "Well thank you. But honestly Fatima, I'm just an old man doing what he's been loving since I was able to pick up a stethoscope. I didn't know what or how but going to school and joining the military helped a lot."

"I see. And now you have your own facility..." "Say that again..." Fatima giggles, "You have your OWN facility." She reiterated but slower.

Dr. Jeffs sighs happily... "Yeahhh..." he murmurs, "That's good."

Fatima laughs, shaking her head. "You're crazy old man." "Crazy and finally gettin' paid. Now let's get back to this money. Who's my next client?"

When Fatima did the zoom call for her interview, Dr. Jeff was greatly impressed with Fatima's expertise and ambitions.

It was "just what the doctor ordered" considering his old assistant was moving; he needed someone almost immediately and Fatima was just the person to fit the bill.
