The next morning....
Las Vegas, Nevada
"Room service, how can I help you?" "Yes. I'd like to place an order for some pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, hashbrown, please don't cook them too hard or too raw, oh and some orange juice." "Yani. I want waffles, with strawberries and whipped cream." "Oh and can I have waffles, with strawberries and whipped cream, bacon, and orange..." "Apple juice..." "Sorry. Make that apple juice." "Is that all Ma'am?.." "No. For my Daddy. He'll take a bacon omelette with onion and green peppers, hashbrowns cooked hard, with a side of toast don't burn it please. He wants grape juice and coffee with..." She pauses trying to remember, "I can't remember how many creams and sugars...I'm sorry..." "It's ok. We can just put it on the side." "Oh ok. Well that's all then.." "Ok I'm going to repeat your order back..." the room service order taker says,
She repeats back the order. "Yes, that's correct." "Great. And how do you want to charge it?"
Iyonna gives the phone a puzzled look, "Uhhh. What does that mean?" "It means, would you like to charge the credit card associated with the room number." "Oh. yes please." "Great. Your food will be ready in twenty minutes." "Thank you." "You're welcome." the service worker says, hanging up.
"They said twenty minutes." "Cool." "I just hope Daddy doesn't get mad at me. I wanted to surprise him with breakfast..." "In our defense he did say we could order at least one room service meal..." "You're right. He did say that." Iyonna worried.
"You think we ordered too much." "No." MJ spoke. "I mean if it's over a hundred dollars, we can bargain and say that we'll work for the amount we overspent."
"Good idea sis." Iyonna mumbled nodding, holding up her hand for a high five, MJ gives it back saying,
"First, we get to ride in first class, now we're ordering room service." She smacks her lips, then snaps her little seven year old fingers, "Boss Girls INDEED!!!" They sang quietly.
Giving each other another high five then went back to quietly coloring on their IPad's, while Zac snored his life away.
Almost twenty minutes later...
Knock, knock, knock...
"Daddy..." "Hmmm..." "Daddy. Someone's at the door..." "What?" "Room Service..." "Here I come!" Zac yells back groggily, stretching and rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand.
"Shit!" he mumbled, getting up and heading to the door.
"Who is it?" "Room Service Sir." "Room Service?!" he questioned, as the girls snickered behind him.
He opens the door. "Oh...I didn't..." "SURPRISE!!!!!" the girls yell.
Zac looks back at the girls then back at the hotel attendant, "Thank you." he smiles, taking the receipt, "You're welcome. If you'd like to leave a tip, you can do so on the app." "Will do." as he took the rolling tray then closed the door.
"Girls. What have you been up to while I've been sleeping?" "Oh nothing..." They sang sweetly, batting their eyelashes with their signature smiles.
Zac snickers and shakes his head. As he rolled the cart to the table.
Meanwhile...
Punta Cuna
"Shit!" Fatima grumbles, waking up from her slumber...
"What time is it?" she mumbled to herself, taking the back of her hand to her eyes to rub them. "Where is my phone?" she shifted.
She looks over, "Mia..." "No..." "Mia..." "Mhmhm..." "Girl, wake up..." "Fatima, you are talking way too loud." "Where is my phone?" "Hell if I know..." "Stop playing." "Fatima! See this is why we had that falling out in college. I am not a morning person and you waking me up in the morning is disrespectful..." "Help me find my phone and you can go back to sleep..." "Have you checked the bathroom..." she suggested, "Because I'm almost three thousand percent sure with the way you was screaming Zac's name last night, it's in there. Hell, I'm surprised yo ass even made it to the bed." cuddling back up with her pillow and snatching the cover back over her head.
