A week later
14 days before Zac has to leave
"So where y'all going?" "This place called, "Candlelight"." "Sounds freaky." Fatima laughed. "Mia, everything "sounds freaky" if it's going through your head." she reiterated.
Mia shrugs, "Meh." Fatima shakes her head. "So how are you and Nick doing?" "We're good." Mia says, in a breath, "we've been going to therapy and we've finally got Nick Jr. back in school."
"Oh yayyy." Fatima celebrated. "Tell me about it." Mia sighed. "Thank you for the lawyer recommendation by the way...and the money." she mumbled trailing off.
Fatima sits on the bed propping up the phone. "Mia, you know you're my sister." "I know.." "Ok then." Fatima says, "Now although I appreciate the recognition. It's not necessary, Babe." "But Ti, you're always coming to my aide." "And you're always coming to mine." Fatima reminded her, as she placed on her heels.
"It may come in different forms but you're always there for me, like I'm always there for you." She said, seeing Mia nod her head.
"Ok," Fatima spoke cheerfully, "Enough of this sad stuff." As she just sat on the edge of the bed, "Did you get our flight information?" "I did." Mia uttered, cheering up.
"I forwarded it to Nicholas. He's gonna pick you guys up so it'll be enough room in the car." "Ok cool." Fatima trailed off seeing Zac enter the room.
"Oh I know that face." "Huh?!" "Fatima you're drooling." "Am I?!" "Girl, go suck on yo mans dick. I'll see you in a couple of days." Mia snickered, then hung up because Fatima was caught in a trance.
She grazed the inside of her lips hungrily looking at the 6'2" man standing on the other side of the bed, putting lotion on his body.
"Fatima.". "Hm." She uttered, coming out of her thoughts.
"I'm not a piece of meat. Stop looking at me like you're waiting for me to warm up in the microwave." He told her, covering his body.
"Uh uh, whatcha doing?" She asked with a disappointed look, "Babe, we have to go..." he retorts,
"Let me lick that..." Zac laughs, "Fatima," he mutters, "stop playing..." "I'm not." "You are!" he told her, then added.
"Ever since Ma took the kids," "Well what else am I supposed to do with all this... tiiiiime on my handssss." "Ok, Mary J. LIES...." he chuckled to her singing the last part of her sentence.
She throws a pillow at him, but he catches it football style. "You gotta be quicker than..." "OUF!" she laughs because while he was gloating she threw another pillow which landed right in his face.
"You gon' get it." "I plan to." she giggled, making a quick dash down the steps in her heels.
Candlelight
They get to the venue getting to the ticket counter.
"Reservation for Taylor." Zac says to the ticket clerk. The clerk looks up their tickets and prints them.
"Your seated in the VIP section Mr. Taylor. Please enjoy the show and the cuisine." "Thank you." Zac said with a smile taking Fatima by the small of her back leading her in.
Fatima looks around, "Babe, this is really nice and the ambiance is definitely a vibe." she told him as they followed the hostess to their seat.
"Yeah, an Airman buddy of mine recommended the place." he told her, letting her sit first in the booth. He slides in thereafter.
