7 months later....

"Angel!!!" "What's up Naynay..." "Angel I gis a Tookie?" "What did mommy say?" "Nooooo." Naomi uttered with fear, shaking her head,

Angel looks from his IPad, giving Naomi a puzzled look, "Naomi. Did mommy say yes or no to a cookie?" "Noooo."

Angel freezes, then shook his head, "You tripping." going back to the fighting game on his IPad, knowing he only has a limited amount of screen time before Fatima's lockout starts.

Naomi snatches his IPad. "HEY!" "NO ANGEL..." she shouts, "Tookie..." "FINE!" he huffed, getting up from his bed. "Come on, so I can get back to my game..."

They get to the hallway and Angel kneels, "Come on." he tells Naomi, as she proceeds to get on his back for a ride.

Just before they moved to the new house, Zac took the safety gate from the stairs and Naomi, just like her siblings before her, took a fall.

Even though her fall didn't do much physically, the psychological fear she experienced thereafter was something that hit the family hard.

No matter where they were, Naomi refused to take the stairs, she always had to be picked up and everyone made sure they did.

"Naomi. Did Mommy..." "No Angel. No Mommy." "You tryna get me in trouble...." "Nooo." "Yes..." "Angel Tookie pezzz." Naomi told her brother with her signature sad face, pointing to the pantry.

"Fine." He grumbled, knowing he couldn't tell her no.

He placed her down gently from his back, then went to the pantry climbing to the top shelf for the vintage cookie jar.

He carefully takes the top off then places it, taking 5 cookies then placed it back.

He figured since he was there, why not take some for himself.

Meanwhile, little Naomi is looking out and listening for any adult because she's fully aware that one of the three are bound to pop up.

"Here." Passing her two of the five, slyly. "Thantch you." "You're welcome..." Angel replied as he stuffed the cookies in his pocket with a napkin, while she scarfed the two he gave her into her little mouth.

"Let me get you something to drink before you choke." He mumbled, going into the fridge for her juice box.

Opening the fridge, "Which one you want?" "She usually goes for the strawberry-kiwi flavored."

Angel and Naomi gasped looking to the direction of the husky voice, seeing Zac lean on the island of the kitchen.

"Damn...He's on to me..." Angel whispered, "What's up Old Man?" "Why are you two in the kitchen?" He asked, giving them both the side eye.

"Just getting some juice..." Angel omitted,

Zac tilts his head. "Mmhmmm." "Naomi come mere.."

Naomi shakes her head, humming "Mmumm.." because she's still trying to chew on the cookies to swallow them.

At this point, the juice would've helped but here we are...

Backing away from Zac, "Nugget. You heard Daddy. Get over here..."

She instantly starts to whine, hearing the base in his voice from the demand. He picks her up, "Open up!"

She tries her signature sad face, "OPEN YOUR MOUTH!" He spoke again emphasizing every word.

Naomi opens her mouth and Zac sees the evidence of chocolate chip cookies.

However she made sure she wasn't going down alone, "Angel..." "OH COME ON!" "Give em up." "DAMMIT!" "And watch your mouth." Zac told him holding out his hand, as Angel went into his pocket to take the cookies out.
