The torrent of divine power ran through the twins like an uncontrollable river, enveloping them in a blanket of energy that seemed to renew them from the depths of their being. The feeling was indescribable: a perfect balance between euphoria and tranquility, as if their souls had finally found their place in the universe. Baal's white crown shone like a small sun, reflecting on his face the energy of his newly acquired title. He felt as if he could illuminate the entire world, and his chest swelled with pride as the applause of the cultists filled him with a happiness he had never experienced before.
Aym, for his part, felt enveloped in an embrace of comforting shadows. The violet crown on his head cast a faint dark glow that seemed to absorb the light around it, giving it a mysterious but calm aura. He experienced a deep sense of peace, as if the darkness he now represented was a refuge for him and those who embraced it. He looked at his brother and felt complete; together they were the perfect balance, light and dark in harmony.
The applause and cheers of the cultists echoed through the temple, filling the space with contagious energy. Narinder looked at his charges with a proud smile before raising his voice.
"Then it's time to celebrate!"
With a snap of his fingers, a huge table appeared in the middle of the cult, laden with exquisite dishes. The cultists, full of enthusiasm, began to quickly take their seats, their eyes lit up by the expectation of a glorious meal.
Shortly after, Narinder took his place at the head of the table, flanked by Lambert on one side and Goliath on the other. With a loving gesture, he took both of their hands, interlacing his fingers with theirs as he smiled. Lambert responded with a soft bleat of happiness, while Goliath, although less expressive, bowed his head in acceptance.
Aym and Baal, still marveling at their crowns and the surroundings, took seats nearby. Aym sat next to Goliath, looking with some curiosity at the imposing goat, while Baal, intrigued, sat next to Lambert, who greeted him with a warm smile.
Aym broke the silence:
—Master... why is the lamb still alive?
The question, direct and almost disconcerting, made Baal look closely at Narinder and Lambert's hands. He looked at the golden rings they both shared and then at Goliath's hand, noticing his absence of a ring.
Narinder, with a playful smile, answered while cutting a piece of meat:
—Oh, right... a lot has happened since you left with Forneus....
Between laughs and bites, Narinder recounted the recent events with a mixture of humor and solemnity. She told of how she had sealed her brothers in the Veil after defeating them, then told of how she managed to get Lambert back and married him that same day. She then spoke of her confrontation with Goliath in the Great Trial, her victory, and how the goat now lived with them as part of their home and family.
The tale left the twins stunned.
Aym, in his disbelief, took a drink of wine, but ended up choking on hearing that Goliath was not only a former god, but would soon marry Narinder. For his part, Baal stood paralyzed, his jaw hanging open as he tried to process the idea that the lamb, his former vessel, had come so far.
Narinder, seeing their reactions, let out a laugh.
"What? You expected less from me?" he joked.
Lambert, enjoying the food, let out a contented bleat, while Goliath devoured a large piece of meat with a violence that did not go unnoticed. Some cultists looked at the goat nervously, but others simply laughed, already accustomed to its wild nature.
With the banquet underway, some cultists who had finished eating soon began dancing around the table. Others brought instruments and began playing lively music, filling the air with a festive atmosphere.
