Once back at his cult, Narinder took out Heket's relic and crown, as always, and the description echoed in his mind:

Name:
Heket's Gorge

Legend:
"Speak no evil"

Description:
Increases attack damage for 10 seconds.

Narinder, not showing much interest in those details, simply nodded to himself. It was not the time to worry about the power the Gorge offered. He would deal with that another time. He carefully put the relic into his infinity pocket and decided to attend to a more important matter.

He walked straight towards the jail. His step was firm, but his heart was filled with caution. Arriving in front of Heket's cell, he took a moment to observe her. His sister was no longer the powerful goddess she used to be; now, weakened by starvation and the ravages of confinement, she seemed a shadow of what she once was. But Narinder did not feel contempt, but a deep sadness. He knew that part of the responsibility fell on him.

With a gentle movement, he opened the cell and entered. Heket looked at him with a dull gleam in her eyes, not understanding what her brother was planning. Narinder took out a gold skull necklace, and delicately put it around her neck. Then, he slipped a Weeber bracelet on her wrist.

—"With this, age will not catch up with you, and hunger will not affect you anymore,"—Narinder said in a low voice, with a mixture of concern.

Heket looked at him, still bewildered by his gesture. Although the powerful jewels relieved her physical state, she was still weak, exhausted in body and spirit.

With the utmost care, he carried her in his arms. Heket, unable to resist, let herself be carried. Although she did not understand his intentions. Narinder took her directly to the temple, determined to do something more for her, although not even Heket knew why he had brought her there.

Narinder, without a word, began to prepare what would be the next step in his plan to restore his divinity.

Narinder rang the temple bell, its deep, resonant sound filling the air, summoning all the cultists. Before long, they gathered silently, like spectral shadows, watching in reverence what was about to happen. Narinder stood in the center of the temple with Heket kneeling beside him, her body exhausted and her gaze vacant, too tired to object.

Narinder's eyes flashed with determination as he pulled out his own relic, Narinder's Claw, which contained the echo of his power, and then the relic he had obtained from his sister: Heket's Throat. Both relics seemed to pulse with a dark, latent energy.

Without hesitation, Narinder raised the Claw and, with a swift, precise movement, drove it deep into Heket's relic. A malevolent glow emerged between the two relics, a bond of energy that seemed to draw out the very essence of her sister. Heket's life force began to flow into the relic, being absorbed, transformed, and corrupted. The shadows in the temple seemed to intensify as this process continued.

Heket's relic changed color, its glow fading and being replaced by a vibrant red with cracks that glowed in an orange glow. Narinder's crown whispered in his mind:

"The power to speak evil - Absorb the essence of hunger."

Narinder smiled, satisfied that he had managed to successfully corrupt the relic, channeling a much darker and deeper power. But when he turned his gaze to Heket, the satisfaction on his face disappeared for an instant. His sister, once full of color despite her imprisonment, now looked paler, almost gray, as if the corruption of the relic had drained the last spark of vitality she had left. Her body trembled weakly, unable to resist the effects of the ritual.

The cultists, in a deep, reverent silence, continued to pray, their heads bowed. None dared to break the stillness of the moment, knowing that they had witnessed something beyond their understanding, but which had undoubtedly strengthened the power of their god. Her silent prayers were a tribute, an acknowledgement of Narinder's supremacy.
