Narinder let out a deep, vibrant purr, full of excitement and genuine happiness. His feline instincts took over completely, and he couldn't help but rub his face against Lambert's head, enjoying the softness of his wool. Then he turned to Goliath and repeated the gesture, rubbing himself affectionately against the goat's rougher fur.

But he didn't stop there. He returned to Lambert, then to Goliath, and did it again and again, as if he wanted to soak up the scent and warmth of both, as if he couldn't decide who to stay with longer.

Lambert chuckled, delighted by Narinder's affection, and let himself be loved, rubbing his cheek against his husband's as well.

Goliath, for his part, sighed with feigned resignation, but did nothing to move away. In fact, he leaned in a little, giving Narinder room to continue his loving ritual.

"I've always celebrated Valentine's Day in my world," the goat said, with a lopsided grin. "And even though I'm in this place, I'm not going to stop doing it."

Lambert, still curled up between them, nodded enthusiastically.

"And I think it's even more important now! It's your first Valentine's Day since you were freed, Narinder."

Narinder reasoned a bit. Valentine's Day?

Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind: a few weeks ago it had been the Blood Moon, he remembered it more or less clearly. Did that mean New Year's and everything else had already passed?

For a moment, he was silent, pondering.

But then he smiled to himself and dismissed the worry.

The passage of time no longer made sense to him anyway.

The world could spin and change all it wanted, but he was here, right now, with the people he loved most.

And that was all that mattered.

With that certainty in his heart, he held them tighter in his embrace, surrounding them with his warmth and pressing them against him with all his love.

"You are what matters most to me."

And without hesitation, he sealed his words with a kiss.

First, to Lambert.

Their lips met softly, feeling the warmth of the lamb he loved so much. Lambert let out a sweet sigh and reciprocated tenderly, his fluffy wool brushing Narinder's face.

Then, to Goliath.

This kiss was different: firmer, more intense, with the goat's passion reflected in the way he reciprocated the gesture, one hand of his holding Narinder's waist possessively.

Narinder savored the feeling of both kisses before pulling away and looking at them fondly.

Then, just as gently, he stroked each of their backs, focusing on the differences he loved so much about them.

Lambert's wool was incredibly fluffy and soft, a cozy haven where he could effortlessly lose himself.

Goliath's fur, on the other hand, was rougher, firmer, but just as comforting in its own way.

They were both so different, and yet, he loved them just as intensely.

Narinder closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the moment, allowing himself to forget any worries.

Today was Valentine's Day after all, and nothing else mattered.

And they slept for another while.
