Devraj finished his morning routine, the sunlight streaming through the windows as he dressed in his work clothes. He felt a mix of excitement and determination as he prepared to check on the fields. The crops were thriving, and he was eager to ensure everything was in order. After a quick breakfast, he hopped into his jeep and drove towards the fields, the engine humming steadily beneath him.

Once he arrived, he was greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of the farm. He quickly got to work, instructing Anjana Devi, on the day's tasks. They discussed irrigation schedules and crop rotations, the air filled with the earthy scent of soil and growing plants.

Just as he was explaining a new strategy for the upcoming season, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He checked his mobile. It was an unusual time for Anika to call him; she typically waited for him to return home in the evenings unless something urgent arose. He excused himself from the conversation, stepping away to answer the call.

"Anika?" he said, his voice laced with curiosity.

"Dev, I need you. Please come as soon as possible. Please!" Her voice was hurried, tinged with an urgency that sent a jolt of concern through him.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his heart racing. "I'm coming, don't worry."

Without a second thought, he turned back to his jeep, the worry gnawing at him as he drove back to the palace. The drive felt longer than usual, each second stretching as he imagined what could be wrong. He parked hastily and rushed inside, taking long strides towards their bedroom.

When he entered, he found Anika pacing back and forth, her expression tense. The moment she saw him, a wave of relief washed over her, and she motioned for him to sit on the bed.

"I took Dr. Mehta's appointment," she said, her voice trembling slightly.

Devraj looked at her, confusion etched on his face. "Are you alright?" he asked, standing up immediately, concern flooding his features.

Anika met his gaze, her eyes wide and filled with uncertainty. "I don't know. I... I think I'm pregnant."

Time seemed to freeze as Devraj processed her words. He stopped breathing, staring at her blankly, the weight of her revelation sinking in. Anika shook him gently, and when he finally saw the hope and fear in her eyes, he released a heavy breath, a smile breaking across his face as he held her shoulders.

"Are you serious?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, filled with disbelief and joy.

Before she could respond, there was a knock at the door. It was Dr. Mehta, ready to confirm what they both hoped for. Devraj's heart raced as he exchanged a glance with Anika, the air thick with anticipation and hope for the future.

Dr. Mehta entered the room, his demeanor professional yet warm. He greeted them both with a reassuring smile, sensing the tension in the air. "Good morning, your majesty!. I hope I'm not interrupting anything important."

Devraj shook his head, still holding Anika's shoulders, his heart pounding in his chest. "No, not at all. We were just... waiting for you."

Dr. Mehta nodded, his expression shifting to one of understanding. "I see. Anika, why don't you take a seat? We'll go through everything together."

Anika sat down on the edge of the bed, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. Devraj remained close, standing beside her, ready to support her through whatever news was about to unfold. Dr. Mehta pulled out a small notepad and began to ask Anika a series of questions about her health, her recent symptoms, and any changes she had noticed.

As the doctor spoke, Devraj's mind raced with thoughts of what this could mean for them. A daughter. The possibility of a new life, a new beginning. He glanced at Anika, who was focused on Dr. Mehta, her expression a mix of hope and anxiety.

After a thorough examination and a few tests, Dr. Mehta finally looked at Anika with a gentle smile. "Based on what you've told me and the preliminary tests, it's very possible that you are indeed pregnant. However, we'll need to conduct a few more tests to confirm."

Anika's breath hitched, and Devraj felt a surge of emotion as he watched her process the news. "Really?" she whispered, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

Dr. Mehta nodded. "Yes, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'll schedule an ultrasound for you, and we'll know for sure soon."

Devraj felt a wave of relief wash over him, and he squeezed Anika's shoulder gently. "This is amazing, Anika. We could be parents again."

Anika turned to him, her eyes shining with a mixture of joy and fear. "Dev, It means...  "

He knelt beside her, taking her hands in his with a smile. "Yes... yes, we made it to here. means all our sacrifices and prayers are worth it"

Dr. Mehta smiled at their exchange sensing the personal conversation, the doctor left the room. Devraj turned back to Anika, who was now smiling through her tears. "I can't believe this is happening," she said, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Neither can I," he replied, his heart swelling with love for her.

Anika laughed softly, the sound a balm to his soul. "And this time, we'll have a little girl to spoil."

Devraj grinned, the vision of their future together filling him with hope. "A daughter. Just imagine her running around, filling our lives with laughter."

They shared a moment of silence. Devraj leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Anika's forehead.

With renewed hope and excitement, they embraced, ready to embark on this new journey together, hand in hand.
