CHAPTER 22.

ISSADORA NARRATES;
The news about Micah's spread really fast in school. It is quite a tough time for the X's right now since the press had multiple questions. And with Carex having such a big mouth, he unveiled the fact that his own brother might have been the cause of their cousin's suicide.

People began hating on the family even to the extent that some people started to attack them. They moved out of the town to cool a bit perhaps till the heat calms and yes, Carex is not talking to any of us. He practically doesn't speak at all ever since the incident.

Meanwhile, my powers has began to resurface again and this time it is quite savage.
"Issa! You're overthinking again..." Xander snapped me out of my thoughts while we were working together on this science project outside of school.

We were out somewhere in the woods outside town exploring different types of species and trying to observe and record their peculiar adaptive features and mode of life.

"I'm sorry... I'm.. I.. I'm just a little sick Xan.." I cooked up an excuse but the skeptical look in Xander's eyes only portrayed he didn't buy what I said but he just nodded and avoided asking further questions.

My dad being the president has become extremely swamped as he tries to get the matter settled down.

The winds blew colder and harder, goosebumps covered my body from head to toe as my mind ran all but hazy. I wonder why I was that cold given we're in the middle of spring.

Moments later I could feel my insides move actively as I clenched my fist hardly to withstand the agony.

"Issa?? Girl are you okay?" Xander asked with a look of concern on his face. "Yeah...yeah I'm good.. I'm just gonna..." I said pointing into the parts of the woods where no one else is.

"Okie sure..." He replied still looking worried as I slid away into the woods. I knew something was wrong, something didn't feel right. I'd been feeling like this ever since Carex and his family fled the city but today's is different. "Ahhh!!!!!" I screamed as clutched intensely onto my belly due to the excessive pain.

I don't know what else happened around me but all I can recount is everything went black amidst my pain.

NARRATOR'S POINT OF VIEW;
Issadora being just as ignorant as the other mutant kids, she had no idea what was happening to her.

The skies immediately became pitch black cloudy and thunder and lightning wouldn't stop striking here and there. All of the students were made to go hasting back to their camping villa for safety with the exception of Issadora who was still in the woods.

A rather extremely hard rain started to pour rather than usual. Storms were approaching thereby uprooting trees and any other stuffs that came between its way.

After all the campers settled, Xander realized issadora never came back from the woods.

IN THE WOODS...
Meanwhile Issadora on the other hand is rather the cause of this entire terrifying phenomenon.

Her head was tilted upwards as she levitated in thin air. Her entire eyes turned purple together with her hair.

Including her blood, which her veins displayed explicitly as her naked body layed floating in her spot.

BACK AT THE VILLA...
"No no no wait! Issa! She never returned from the woods... Mr Crane! My friend is still out there!" Xander mentioned out panicking. "What?? And you're now saying it?? How could you be so stupid!" Emily let out seeming extremely worried and quite furious with Xander for failing to tell them sooner.

"I'm sorry but I was under duress... It all started so quickly... I forgot... I assumed she made it here... God God God.. I'm so stupid!" Xander blurted out slapping himself in frustration.
