CHAPTER 13.

"Oh my God Bella! I've missed you so much!! I didn't even realize you've vacated I'm so sorry sis.." Issa muttered out affectionately as she pecked the little girl's cheeks smiling excitedly. "Wait sis? When did you have a sister and how come I've never met her or even heard of her?" I asked feeling really surprised.

"Well, there are a lot of things you don't know about me Carex..." Issa replied. "Wait he's Carex? Lisa's best friend? Awwn he's even cuter than you had described.." Bella uttered which genuinely made me feel over the moon. "Well he's also technically my best friend now.." Issa answered. "Awwn thank you so much little one..." I said turning to the cute little girl in front of me. "Call me little one again and I'll make you chew your own tongue..." She threatened which basically killed the whole vibe.

She looks really cute and innocent but her choice of words is rather dire and so unlike her stature. Is everyone in the Shelton family this weird? "Jesus Christ Issa this young Lady here is a demon!" I muttered out pretty much hyperbolically. "Well, that sounds more like a compliment...." She replied. "Hey so who dropped you by?" Issa asked her. "Mom did..." She replied. "Mom is here?" Issa asked as Bella nodded and then she rushed inside excitedly as Bella chased behind leaving me behind.

"Hey Care... how are ya? It's been a while since I saw you and your brother.. come here..." Issadora's mother said looking excited as she opened her arms and I embraced her briefly. We talked for a moment and then afterwards, we headed upstairs into Issa's room and then I began asking her questions about Bella. Well at first she was hesitant but then gradually she kowtowed and then spilled out the truth.

I learnt Bella is adopted and was also at that facility where Issa was tortured. Such a cruel world we live in... Why would you torture a kid at this tender age? I asked myself as Issa explained to me everything. "Are you not human? Why can't I see through your head? This is so unusual..." Bella complained interrupting Issa as she got up and began scrutinizing me from head to toe. I didn't mind that much until I saw her eyes change and the pupil of her eyes disappear making her eyes look absolutely white.

"Jesus Christ of Nazareth!!! What the fuck??? Christ! Oh my gosh!!!" I screamed as I jumped onto my feet startled to the core. "What the hell?" I spat out as I noticed Issa burst out into loud laughter. "Agh... You scaredy cat... I told you she can control people with her mind.." Issa stated still laughing. "Well you didn't say her eyes turn this weird..." I retorted. "Dude your body literally radiates electromagnetic radiations and super intensive heat but no one thinks that's weird..." Issa said as I reluctantly sat down again.

"Well that's demonic I swear to God! She's a demon.." I said.
"Issa? Is she always like that?" I asked pointing to Bella who was still standing Infront of me shaking exuberantly as she began sweating heavily. God Issa she's crying?" I said pointing to Bella as Issa quickly turned to her screaming her name to wake up.
"Bells? Bella? Bella wake up! Hey! Bella... Christabel!!!" Issa screamed as finally, the girl jumped back to the real world but something seemed off.
She looked so afraid, not of me but for me.

"How come you're still standing here comfortable when there's so much fire crawling inside of you?" Bella asked as Issa wiped her face with a wiper and massaged her head to calm her down. "Ugh... I don't know what you mean..." I muttered out chuckling just because I don't even understand what she's saying. "Hey...you can't do that. You can't just sneak your way into people's brain it's wrong!" Issa scolded. "I'm sorry but I just wanted to know whether his intents are good... I don't want anyone to hurt you.." Bella muttered out softly as Issa pulled her head to her chest smiling.

"Thanks little sis, but you're still grounded..." Issa blurted out. "Nyeeen you're no fun!" Bella said as Issa picked her up and sent her over to her room so she could rest. Thankfully her mom was outside making a call all that while so she didn't hear anything that went down inside the house.
