CHAPTER 16

NARRATOR'S POINT OF VIEW;
After Issa and Bella had broken Yusuf out of the asylum, she suffered a dear repercussions for having used her powers on such superfluous number of people.

All her openings were oozing blood as she laid in bed trapped in her own head trying to break free. Luckily enough, Mr Shelton who happened to be around the house found her like that and well thankfully, Uncle Tommy also happened to be with him so they managed to get her out of danger. Bella was made to rest in the attic where she'd be free from all disturbances.

The attic is sound proof so it is absolutely quiet in there which is perfect for her given her abilities. She should be able to heal quicker in there...

Issadora and Kylex were just as ignorant about everything going on with Bella since they were busily planning on how to scram to Africa discreetly to track Carex down.

"Where do you two think you're going?? What were you even thinking breaking him out of the asylum?? Do you know the consequences you could face if people find out about your abilities??? And you, follow me... I'm sending you back to your parents..." My dad gave us a lifetime scold of our lives as he happened to catch us at the garage where he keeps the jets.

"Please wait I can explain... I can't go back to the asylum please... Please listen please! You don't understand please listen to me... Listen!" Yusuf begged desperately as my dad dragged him towards his car angrily. "Dad please you're hurting him..." I tried interceding.

"I would not hear a word from your mouth! You are a complete disappointment! You must be ashamed of yourself! Endangering the life of a little girl and exposing your existence to the outside world? Just go to your room right now... I don't wanna see your face!." My dad instructed which basically made my heart sink into my chest.

Never for once in his life has he ever raised his voice at me like this. I understand what I did was perhaps reckless and absurd but if there's any chance Carex is alive, I'm willing to take it.

His words pierced into my soul like a sharp dagger which made me break into tears and ran off into my room.

It was later on that I found out what had happened to Bella from my mom. Maybe my dad is right, maybe I'm just a disappointment... How could I not even think of this? Her using her abilities like that only spelt danger and misfortune.

After realising how reckless and stupid what I did was, I began to cry my eyes out silently as I hid myself in my room in shame.

YUSUF NARRATES;
"Honey that was a bit too extreme..." Mrs Hermione muttered out silently as her husband just completely ignored her and shoved me into his car like I'm not even a living being. I understand he is angry but the way he is acting is just way too extravagant. "Please Mr Shelton listen, I'm not mad please... don't send me back please... My brother needs me..." I begged as he drove us towards my parents place.

"Your brother! Your brother! Your brother! I'm sick of hearing that! He is dead okay? He is dead and gone and he's never coming back so the sooner you accept that, the better it is for everyone! Do you know how much trouble I had to go through to clean up your mess at the asylum? Or wha?t you think people wouldn't have noticed how unnatural the incident was? Bella is now in the hospital fighting for her life because of what you guys did.

Or did you think making her use her abilities like that on lots of people wouldn't have consequences?? She's just a damn child! And well for some reason you don't seem to get it but at least she's alive, and I'm not going to sit tight and watch you send her to her early grave just for some rotting corpse somewhere... *Yusuf eyes turns blue* Woah what the fuck???" Mr Shelton exclaimed shockingly as he pulled over.
