Taylor's POV

Ready to go Taylor? I'll be there in 10 mins. -M

...oh shit.

I completely lost track of time and was on YouTube...for 45 minutes! I need to finish packing, like NOW!

I run down the hallway to the last door on my left and run into my bedroom. I rush over to my bed and open my plain, black suitcase. Ok, I rush to my closet and grab some t-shirts, in which it consists of colors such as blue, dark purple, some white, but mostly black with designs and such. Good mix of colors? I think so. I quickly jam those in my suitcase. I grab my necessary hoodies, which are always necessary, and my sneakers and converse. I grab some jeans and my pajamas and stuff them in there too. I grab my laptop and charger and throw it in my laptop case, along with my two cameras, and my tripod and throw them into my suitcase with everything else.

I go to my bathroom and brush out my long, black, curly hair, put on my black eyeliner and mascara to make my dark brown eyes pop out against my medium tan complexion. Then I throw on a clean black t-shirt and some jeans.

After grabbing anything else essential, such as toiletries, I receive a text from Mackenzie.

"I'm outside now. Where r u? -M

"I'm on my way out the door right now." -T

"Hurry! The plane takes off in 15 minutes! -M

I grab my suitcase and my bag and run out the door and hop in the passenger side of Mackenzie's car.

"What happened?! We were supposed to be at the airport half an hour ago!!!"

I get in and look at Mackenzie. She has her blonde hair tied up in a ponytail, and even without makeup, her blue eyes still pop. Crazy.

"I'm so sorry. I got lost in the internet again."

"Well, what a surprise. You're always on the computer."

"Hey, don't even. You're on the computer just as much as me."

"Yes, but at least I get all my stuff done before I do. Anyway, did you get all your stuff?"

"Yeah," I say as I look out the window.

"Laptop?"

"Check."

"Phone?"

"Check," I say, getting a little irritated.

"iPod with your extensive collection of headphones?"

"Honestly, Mackenzie I don't know why you would even-" I go to feel for my iPod in my pocket only to feel my pocket empty.

I LEFT MY IPOD OMG ASDFGHJKL!!!!

......

Let me just make this clear.

I always have my iPod.

Always

I NEVER go another without it.

And I had left it at my house.

"Mackenzie, we need to go back to my house now."

"Taylor, we don't have time to go back just because you forgot your iPod."

"But you don't understand!! This is my music player the very thing I cannot live without my music!

For me, music is my favorite thing in the whole world. It is the very thing that can make me laugh, cry, make me calm, and make me excited. not necessarily in that order. What am I supposed to do for the entire plane ride all the way to London?!?!

"Dude, you can pick one up when we get to London."

I guess she was right, I mean all my music is on my laptop anyway.

We finally get to the airport with 5 minutes to get through security, get our boarding passes and get on the plane.Well, this will be fun!

We rush inside and get to the line you go to where the person tells you basically if you get to go through the line that takes four forevers. We get to the front of the line and are greeted with a middle-aged woman with dark blonde hair and a very genuine smile on her face.

"Hello, I'm Lily. May I see your boarding pass, please?"

I hand her my boarding pass and look at the clock. Four minutes.

Maybe the woman saw the look of horror in my face, or maybe she was just being really nice today.

"Ok, you may go. Please use lane 2 for security check. Have a nice day," she said, all with a smile.

A wave of relief fell over me as Mackenzie were able to go through the fast security check.

We got through the security and had two minutes to run through the airport with our bags and board the plane.

We rushed through the airport without stopping for food, in which we were in dire need of, and after running for what felt like forever, we made it to Gate 24. The line was empty and the boarding lady at the front said on her intercom, "Last call for boarding Flight 4792, Missouri to London. Last call."

Mackenzie and I ran to the gate, handed the lady our boarding passes, finally getting on the plane, and found our seats.

I let Mackenzie have the window seat because she is mildly claustrophobic, so I sat in the middle seat between Mackenzie and what looked like a middle-aged business man. Literally, the entire flight this guy was on his laptop, tablet, and his two cell phone.

After Mackenzie fell asleep, I stole her phone and started listening to one of my favorite songs, "Paper Planes". I close my eyes and try to relax as I begin to think of how lucky I would be if I got to meet Dan and Phil while in London. I begin to drift off to sleep as I begin to think of Dan's live shows, and realize I'm going to watch his show tomorrow.

"Taylor, we're here!!!" I wake with a start as Mackenzie rips one of my headphones and shakes me 'til I'm dizzy.

"Ok, I'm up. You don't need to sha-" I look outside and see the wonderful land. I'm absolutely speechless. To think that my idols live in this very city amazes me.

Once the plane lands, Mackenzie and I can barely keep ourselves from jumping out of our seats so we can see London. We run down the tunnel and jump into the airport into the amazing and new world that is...LONDON!
