Dan's POV

"Hey, do you want some lunch? I mean, we don't have much food at the moment, but I can run to the store real quick," Taylor suggests.

"Oh I could go grab something," I say "If you'd like."

"No, that's not necessary," Taylor explains, already grabbing her hoodie and pulling it over my head.

"Well, at least let me go with you. I mean, it's a big city and it's easy to get lost in," I retort.

She contemplates this for a moment and finally decides "Yeah, ok, but I'm not letting you carry anything. Deal?"

"I'm not making any promises."

"Dan?" she says, giving me the death stare.

"Fine. Let's go. What are getting?"

"Not sure yet. Let me ask Mackenzie."

We walk out of the room, Taylor going first and I following close behind. I shut the door, and we make our way to the living room and find Mackenzie in the kitchen area grabbing a glass of water.

"Hey, Mack. What do you want for lunch?" Taylor asks.

"I don't care, really. Whatever is fine with you guys."

"Mackenzie, just pick something please."

"I don't know, Taylor. I just woke up. Why not ask Dan?"

"Alright then," Taylor says as she turns to me. "What would you like for lunch?"

"Uh...I don't know," I say, truthfully unsure of what I want.

Taylor sighs in exasperation. "Ok well do you want to order in or go grab something at the store?"

"Order," I state.

"Ok, what are you in the mood for?"

To kiss you?

Stop, Dan!

"How about pizza? We can go out later for groceries."

"Hey Mack! Pizza good with you?!" Taylor yells to her friend who had quietly slipped into her room.

"Yeah sounds great! I want pepperoni!" Mackenzie shouts back.

"Got it! What do you want?" she asks me.

"Pepperoni is good with me too," I say, and I close the gap between us, wrapping my free arm around her waist. She tenses up and I soon realise...

"Taylor.....are you ticklish?" I say with a sly grin, planning a devilish idea.

"I-I..of course not!" she says as she tries to escape from my grasp, but I am stronger. I start tickling her side and she starts laughing uncontrollably.

"D-Dan sto-ha-stop! Oh my god, STOP!" she pleads trying to remove my hand from her side.

I stop before she actually gets mad at me and stand up. I hold out my hand out to her to help her up.

"Ugh, you're annoying when you do shit like that," she says looking up at me.

I fake-gasp. "Me? Annoying? Never!"

She playfully hits my unbroken arm. "Shut up, you sarcastic Brit."

"You know, as much as I'd like to stand here while you physically abuse me, we have food to order, and we both left our phones in your room," I say.

"Watch this," she says quietly. "Hey Mack! 1 large pepperoni pizza, yeah?"

"Taylor, it's your turn to deal with people!" she yells back.
