Chapter 10: Not All Endings are Fairy Tales

Once Mackenzie and I finished our amazing British pancakes, I order a coffee and I payed the bill, seeing as I never let anyone pay because if I don't, then I feel bad, whether or not I bought the least or none at all. 

Our conversations go alone the lines of this:

"Taylor, let me pay the bill. You always pay it," Mackenzie says, attempting to pay.

"Mackenzie," I say calmly. "Let me pay for the fucking bill, or I will drop Youtube all together," I threaten. She allows to me to pay, only because I am serious. I take Youtube very serious, ever since I first decided to start it. 

Flashback 6 Years Ago: Guys, I Have a Great Idea!

"Guys, I have a great idea!" I say to my friends, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Kaelynn, Savvanah, and Hailee.

"Oh god, here she goes again," Alyssa says, clearly having a bad day. Alyssa is the spazz of the group. 

"Taylor, I don't feel like putting up with your random nonsense today," Kaelynn says. She is the unintentional funny one, who has a dry humor, which is still hilarious. Me and her met first in our 6th grade Art and Music class. She was the one who introduced me to everyone. 

"No, guys, trust me. This is a great idea. I swear," I say.

"Are we finally microwaving babies?" Savvanah says, quietly. Savvanah is probably the most timid of all of us. We are all socially awkward, but she is even quiet and timid. But her comments are hilarious. That's for another time, thought.

"Savvanah, shut up," I say. I stop for a second, then say, "And no, but soon."

Did I forget to mention my friends and I have a very unique and dynamic sense of humor?

Well, we do.

"Aww," Savvanah says disappointinly. 

"So, what's the idea?" Hailee askes. Hailee is the most logical of all of us. Mackenzie is logical as well, but Mack makes jokes just like us. Hailee...doesn't. 

"Ok, so," I hold up a notebook with a black cover. "I have decided to make a Youtube channel!"

Everyone just looks at me for a minute, surprised. 

These were their thoughts. 

Mackenzie: Can I help?

Alyssa: I wanna be in some of the videos!

Kaelynn: Taylor, that is the most stupid idea I have ever heard you say.

Savvanah: You probably won't even go through with it. 

Hailee: Go for it. (Here catchphrase)

These are my friends. Wow ha ok. 

End of Flashback

"Fine, whatever. More money for me to spend on your next birthday."

"Yeah right. You know you'll only get me a card like every year. Now shut up and let's go."

"Ok, sure," she says. 

I grab my coffee and Mack grabs her fruit smoothie she had gotten from a boy earlier that sat a couple booths away. He had light brown hair, blue eyes, and fairly healthy. Over all, he was quite handsome, and Mackenzie definitely seemed to think so. 

"What are you going to do about him?" I ask, motioning over behind me to the boy in the booth. 

"Nothing. Why?"
