We head into the apartment and are greeted with Gavin, Mackenzie, and Phil on the couch, watching Titanic.
"Never let go, Rose," I hear Jack from the T.V. say.
"I'll never let go, Jack."
"Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!" Phil yells.
"Rose is so dumb," Gavin says.
"I know, right!" Mackenzie says. "She says she'll never let go of him, and then she basically pushes him in the water!!"
"Why are you guys watching 'Titanic' in the middle of the afternoon?" I ask.
"Well, we were waiting for you guys to get back and then we got bored," Gavin says. "But I think the more important question is, 'Why are you and Dan holding hands?"
I had just realized that Dan and I's hands were interlocked still.
"Well...I-I...I mean...w-we...," I stutter, nervous because they saw us holding hands, but also because I couldn't think of a logical answer, or an answer at all.
"Taylor and I went out on a date," Dan says.
"I thought you said you guys were 'hanging out'. You never said anything about a date," Mackenzie says, confused.
"Well, I guess it j-just kinda turned into one...A date, that is," I explain.
"Aww," Phil says. "So, does that mean you guys are a couple yet?"
"Not officially," Dan says, and I blush a shade of pink. "I think that's a discussion only between Taylor and I," Dan says, looking down at me. God, his eyes are gorgeous.
"Hey, do you want to watch another movie before dinner?" Gavin asks.
"Hell, yeah!" Dan and I say in unison.
"Hey! That's mine and Taylor's thing. You're not allowed to speak in unison," Mackenzie protests.
"Whatever, what are we going to watch?" Gavin asks.
"How about 'The Fault in Our Stars'?" Phil asks.
Everyone nods in agreement.
"Can I just state for the record: I've never watched the movie," I say, and everyone gasps.
"What the hell, Taylor," Gavin says.
"Are you for real?" Phil asks.
"Well, like I've read the book, I've heard about the movie, but I've never actually watched the movie," I explain.
"You should be ashamed, Taylor," Dan says jokingly.
"Shut up," I say.
"Are we going to watch this or what?" Mackenzie says.
"Yeah, sure," Dan says.
We sit down, side by side on the floor, considering there was no room on the couch, as Phil scrolls through a variety of movies.
"Found it," Phil says, as he clicks 'Play' on 'The Fault in Our Stars'.
The movie starts, and I'm excited, but I have difficulty paying attention to the movie because of two reasons.
1) I'm already tired.
2) Dan and I are sitting very close. So close, that if both of us were to turn our heads, our noses would for sure brush against one another.

After about 10 minutes, my eyes so heavy that I can barely keep them open.
