So why would I ever let you go

Even if I tried
Even across the miles.
You held your feelings
Never knowing
If they would ever come to be
Seen the same way
That's quite a risk
You were willing to take
And I love that you were so willing to try
To put the sparkle back in my eyes
The smile on my face.
You didn't know what I'd been through
To get me to you
But none of that matters
Because we found each other
Through all the other people in the world
And I love every second
Every message
Everytime you call me baby, precious and everything else
You said I was worth the wait
I hope we can take
All the obstacles that stand in our way.
I used to see those green eyes
That smile
That voice
And think wow that's amazing
I'd love that all for me
I never thought about it happening
Because I didn't think it could come true
Too many obstacles between me and you
They have been cleared
Our time is finally here.
I don't care where we are
You're grabbing my heart
I believe this may work
And maybe for once I won't end up hurt.
