Chapter 14

"So you think you can just come up in here and take my man? And my home girls mans too?" Alicia yells standing up. "Yo man?" I ask as I throw my tray away not even looking at her. "Yes! My man! Mason loves me! Not you! But lately, you've been taking every boys attention! And I've had enough." Alicia says getting in my face. Not many people were looking but few were. "Girl close your mouth! Your breath reeks!" I yell closing my nose. I guess she took the opportunity to swing at me. She punched me dead in my back. I quickly turned around and started swinging on her. Everybody was looking. I felt someone tugging on me and pulling me away from Alicia. "Hol' up!" I yelled running out of them and after Alicia. I jumped on her back and started pounding her. When I was done, I spit dead in her face to show a sign of NO respect. "Try me again and see what happens." I say. I got up and saw Mason staring at me. I was proud of myself for sticking up for me and fighting her. When I looked at her I felt bad though cause blood was just dripping and coming from her body. She was laying in a pool of blood. I wanted to rush over and help her but I guess she was fine cause she got up, spat, and just mugged me and mouth the words 'watch yo back.' But, I'm not scared of her to be honest. "Baby girl, I ain't know you could fight like that." Mason says grabbing a hold up my body. I just smiled and told him I didn't either. "Bestfrann!" "Rebecca!" Amanda and Chelsea yelled running over to me. "What happened?" Chelsea asked. I went on to explaining how she was talking trash and stuff so I just decided to swing a little cause she swung on me. "You know you finna get written up." Amanda says pointing over at the assistant principal. I sighed knowing that I was. Mason gave me a hug. "See you in about a week or so. I'll be over every day afterschool and I'll call you every day in school and stuff." Mason said as if I was going to jail. "Pinkie promise?"I asked holding out my pinkie . His pinkie connected and he kissed me and hugged me. "I love you ma." He said. "I love you too." I answer. "Bestfrann. Why?" Amanda says. "Yeah Rebecca! This messes up your record." Chelsea reminds me. I shrug my shoulders. "You're Rebecca?" The assistant principal asked. I nodded my head. "Follow me please." She said. We walked to my administrators office. "Wait here." She said pointing to the bench. I sat on it nervous as I dont know what! About 3 minutes later, they called me into his office. "Ms...." The administrator wandered on scrambling through papers. "Auburn." I say playing with my fingers. "Ms. Rebecca Auburn. So at 8:00 in the morning, you fight people?" He asked. "Ummm, well, not really." I said relaxing trying to play it off as if I was ok. He raised and eyebrow at me and I sat up straight. "You do realize you made her blead. From my undertsanding, you punched her so hard she started bleeding out her mouth, nose, and head. This is very serious Ms. Auburn." He says pulling up my record. I bit my bottom lip. "You're record is clean too. Awesome grades. Straight A's. You're a smart little girl. What happened." He asked. Knowing he didn't care, I just looked down. He sighed and pulled out a write up sheet. "I'm giving you ISS for the rest of the day and on top of that, and on top of that I'm suspending you for two weeks." He says. "TWO!" I yell shocked. "Yes. Two." He says writing it up. I sat back and sighed. He contacted my mother and handed me my write up sheet. "Have a nice day and see you in two weeks." He says. I fake a smile and walk out of there. I grabbed myt things and found Mason. "Mason. I have to go to ISS and I'm suspended for two weeks." I began to cry. "No ma! Stop all that crying. You a G. You're gonna be fine!" Mason said wiping my eyes. "She's gonna be in trouble too. Please. For me. Stop crying." Mason says. I just hide my face in his shoulder. "You know what, Imma get suspended too." Mason says. "No! Please!" I whine. He grabs a sharpie out of his locker and starts writing on the wall until a teacher sees him. "Mason! MASON!" The teacher yells. "Go to the administrator" He says. Mason smiles, gives me a kiss, and walks to the adminstrators office. What have I gotten myself into!
