Lowkey just felt like i needed to talk about this. Recently ive seen lots of posts talking about how since smeyer has come out with a new (twilight related) book every 5 years since the first one, that there's a good chance she'll release another one this year for the 20th anniversary

I think yall know where im going with this

im not ready for a book about jacob and rolaskatox (i knew it was coming, but potentially this year? thats too soon dfhngfsfs) like im actually so scared

i dont ever really cry when consuming any kind of content. The only time ive ever cried reading a book was in 2014 reading the hunger games for the first time, but i GENUINELY think i'll cry if i have to read about raxacoricofallapatorius (if you get that reference i love you) giving birth to jacob's child because you just KNOW smeyer will write that shit even though she initially tried to say "oh no jacob's just her protector it isn't romantic" and then by the end of the book edward is calling jacob "my son" like BRO

like omfg jacob deserved so much better. I just recently found out that for the eclipse movie, they did actually film that scene from the book where bella has a vision of her future if she chose jacob (where they have kids and grow old together) and that footage was just NEVER RELEASED??? we were ROBBED

At the very least smeyer coulda had jacob and leah be a thing, like their dynamic in breaking dawn was SO GOOD and honestly one of the few good things to come out of that cursed book. It would have been so interesting to see a romance develop from their initial hatred of each other that they pushed aside for mutual convenience. But appartently smeyer hates leah for some reason and said she doesn't promise her a happy ending like??? tf did the poor wolf girl to do you. Instead she just had to make jacob fall in love with newborn rumplestiltsken like okay then whatever

(M/N) woke up to the sound of a car pulling up outside the house. Bella moved her head from his shoulder to look at him when she felt him shift. It looked like she had also just been woken up.

"What's going on?" (M/N) asked softly as he rubbed his eyes. It was darker outside than it was before. How long had they slept?

Before Bella could say anything, the door opened and the lights flicked on, momentarily blinding them. Jacob startled awake, gasping and jumping to his feet.

In the light, (M/N) was able to see the tear stains on Bella's cheeks and, by the way she was looking at him, he was sure he had them, too. They wiped their faces clean, not missing Jacob's eyes on them as they did, before turning to the front door.

"Sorry," Billy said. "Did we wake you?"

His expression was hard with grief. Everyone understood immediately. Jacob hurried to his father's side and took one of his hands. Sam was right behind Billy, pushing his chair through the door. His normal composure was absent from his agonised face.

"I'm so sorry," Bella whispered.

"Charlie and Julie are still at the hospital with Sue. There are a lot of... arrangements to be made."

"I'd better get back there," Sam mumbled, then he moved hastily out the door.

Billy pulled his hand away from Jacob, then rolled himself through the kitchen towards his room. Jacob watched him for a minute, then came back to sit on the floor beside the teens again, head in his hands.

After a long moment, (M/N) spoke up.

"Do you... need to talk about it?" He repeated the words Jacob had said to him the other day, hoping Jacob understood that he was ready to talk if needed.
