"Why are you crying?" I ask Ava as I open her door and unbuckle her. "I'm hungry" and you need to cry for that? Girl please. "This is why you don't give candy to little kids" I tell Kate not in a rude way but I think that's how it came off as. "I'm sorry" I hear her say and I pick Ava up but she's squirming all over the place.
"No it's okay. I didn't mean it to come off as rude" I apologize and she gives me a small smile. "Can I try?" I hand Ava to her and she immediately stops crying and squirming. "What the fuck?" I mumble so confused. "What can I say? I'm good with kids" she winks at me and walks to the entrance. I lock up the car and follow them.
We walk towards the entrance and there was some paparazzi so Kate covered Ava's face as we walked inside. "Hey Kate. Can we have a photo?" a younger girl ask Kate. "Yeah sure" I watch Kate lean over for a photo making sure Ava's face was hidden. "Come on baby" she takes my hand and walks inside and finds our seats.
We find Lexie in the seat next to her and Kate sets Ava down. "Hey Lexie" she smiles up at me and gives Kate and I a hug. She then says hi to Ava and we sit down and start talking and watch the teams warm up. "Auntie Ellie!" Ava shouts making some people laugh next to us. Ellie heard her so she jogged up to us.
"Hey kiddo" she hugs Ellie and tickles her before looking at me and doing our handshake, nodding at Kate and gives Lexie a kiss on the cheek before leaving.
Ava comes up to me and stands between my legs and plays with my shirt, not looking up at me. "I want to sit with Kate" whispers to me but me being me, I had to tease her a little. "What's that?" I could feel her contemplating if she should tell me again or not.
"I want to sit with Kate" she finally looks up at me and I fix her out that's out of her face. "Go ahead. You know she'd like that" I tried to push her over to Kate who was sitting two seats over while talking to Lexie, but she was refusing to move. Why is she all of the sudden shy?
"Can you ask her?" I shake my head and push her closer to Kate. She looks back at me and gives me a small glare but I ignore it and watch her poke Kate and ask the question which she happily let her sit on her.
"Hey sorry. Can I sit here?" I look up and see a young girl, probably around our age, looking down at me with a smile. "Um yeah sure" I move seats so that I'm now sitting next to Kate and so that the girl can sit where I was.
"I love your shoes by the way" the girl tells me and I look down looking at the shoes I got on. "Oh really? Thanks" she nods her head and sets her drink down by her feet. "Where did you get them?" I personally like to gate keep but I'm going to be nice today. "These are actually custom made. My girlfriend Kate got me them" I lean back and poke Kate on the arm.
"Yeah?" She asks eyeing the girl for a second before looking at me. "She said she likes the customs" I tell her with a smile on my face. "You have good taste" the girl tells her and Kate just looks at me with that look. "Yeah I do" I roll my eyes then I start talking to the girl.
Found out that her name is Victoria and she's Gabby Williams cousin. The game soon started and I was talking to Victoria most of the time.
"Aunti Olivia" Ava whines during the end of the game. "Yes?" I look over at her and I see her glancing over at Victoria."Why aren't you giving us attention?" My jaw slightly drops at what she said. "Can you get off for a second?" Kate asks Ava who reluctantly agrees.
Kate grabs her drink and her phone and stands up and holds Ava's hand so that she doesn't run off and I can feel Ava shooting daggers at me but I ignored it. "It was nice talking to you" Victoria says to me and I nod my head and Kate drags me away with Ava and Lexie.
We walked out of the gym and waited for Ellie to come out and we went out for a little treat. After that, we all went back to Ellie's place and slept there and in the morning, Ava, Kate and I flew back and dropped a very tired Ava.
