I woke up, started my day stressing my ass off, because I was supposed to be at Kate's game half an hour ago. My plane took off late so it changed my whole ass schedule. I also couldn't text Kate to tell her that I was going to be late because of stupid airplane mode. Like fuck that. As soon as we landed, I pull out my phone and texted Kate.

The game already started when I stepped foot on the floor. I ran, like actually ran (I don't run), to the entrance to find Kalea. "Liv!" I look to my right and see Kalea waving from her window. I rush over and open the door and get in. "So how was the-"
"Shut up and drive" I tell her, putting my seatbelt on and she starts driving. People might think what I just said to her was rude but it's not. You should hear the things she says to me behind closed doors.
I relaxed a little before Kalea spoke back up again after 5 minutes. "Now that you've calmed down a little...how was your little trip?" She asks taking a right to the street where the gym is at.
"It was pretty good. They want me back for their next game but I told them I'd have to see" she hums and parks her car and we get out and rush inside and find our seats. I'm thankful that Bryelle was the one taking photos for today. That would have just added more stress.
"Our seats are over here" I follow her down the steps and to our seats. We were seating on the floor across from the benches. There was 30 seconds before half time and Kate, Jada, Caitlin, Sydney and Hannah were on.
Gabbie waves at me from the other side and I wave back with a smile on my face. I watch her shake AJ next to her then points to me. I chuckle and roll my eyes and watch the rest of the first half.
They ended it with 46-49.
For USC...
"They're only down by three. If they don't win, I might freak the fuck out" Kalea says so calmly telling me that she actually will freak out. I shake my head and pull out my phone to see if Kate saw my message or texted me back which she did.

"Hey" I jump a little hearing Bree's voice. I put my phone away and she sits down next to us with a smile. "How was your trip?" She asks with a smile. She's always smiling and bubbly. "It was good. Look at these photos" I take my phone out and show her and Kalea the photos I took. "I love them"
The buzzer then buzzes and we watch the girls come back out and to warm up. I eye Kate for a bit and she seems off. Like she's not her happy self. "What's wrong with Kate?" Kalea asks looking at Kate. "Not sure. She's been like this the whole game" Bree answers and I hum.
I watch Caitlin trying to cheer Kate up which wasn't working to Gabbie and Molly came along and tried. Kate just waved everyone off but Gabbie wasn't about to have it so she pulled her aside and had a talk with her.
It looked a little serious I guess. I don't know what's going on but whatever she said made Kate switch up a little bit but she was still off.
"It's starting again" Kalea whispers to me and we watch the second half of the game. It was a little better but Kate was still off. I sigh and just kept on watching.
It didn't take long for the game to end and the girls went back to their locker room. We lost by like 1 or 2 which is still good. Well, I thought it was but someone else didn't.
"I'll go see what's up with Martini" I tell the girls and excuse myself and go to the locker room after I see everyone walk out. They all gave me a smile and a hi and hello here and there before walking in.
"Hey woah. What's wrong?" I ask Kate after she slammed her locker shut. This is the first time I see this. She never does this. Caitlin does it sometimes but this is different.
"Did you not see what just happened?" She asks me with her eyes filled with anger. "I'm a little lost here" I tell her honestly and sit down next to her but giving her some space. "I was the one who missed my free throws which costs us a win" she tells me.
"You can't blame yourself for that" she groans was about to stand up but I pull her back down. "I want you to know that, Kate. It wasn't your fault or anyone's okay?" She sighs and rests her head against my shoulder and I wrap my arm around her.
"You did amazing tonight and I don't want you to think that you were the one who made your team lose. Yeah you missed your free throws but so did Caitlin, AJ, Hannah and everyone else" I could feel her relax into me. "Everyone makes mistakes even me" I reassure her and she nods her head and wraps her arm around my waist.
"Everyone is mad at me though" she mumbles to me and I shake my head. "Did you not hear what they said about you? They all stood up for you and of course they're not mad at you. If they were then that's just bad sportsmanship and I would have to beat their asses for it" that made her laugh.
"You always know what to say and make things better" she tells me and lifts her head up to look at me. "Thank you" she gives me a nice long hug. A hug that we know we both needed. "I love you but Kalea is blowing up my phone" I tell her and she pulls away and I check my phone.
15 texts messages.
My god.
"Come by my dorm tonight" I give her a wink before giving her a quick kiss and leaving her alone to change. "Everything okay with Kate?" Kalea asks scaring the shit out of me right as I walked out of the room.
"First. Kill yourself and don't ever scare me like that again" I tell her. "And second, fuck off. Yeah yeah I know the whole script. Let's move on and spill the tea" Kalea tells me and we link arms and walk back to the main entrance together.
"Let's just say that everyone gets bad days" Kalea sighs but agrees with me. "Don't have to tell me twice. Let's go get some food" so that's what we did. We got some food for the girls too which I know they will thank me later.
"Take a picture of me" Kalea says and I pull out my phone and snap a quick photo of her and post it on my Instagram story.
