"I'm hungry" I whine watching people walk around with food in their hands. "I guess we have tome before the game" Kate says walking behind me. "Where should we go?" Hannah ask looking at some restaurants on the street.
"Lowkey want Boston Pizza" Molly says and I agree with her. "Then lets go there" Ava drags us all inside a Boston Pizza that was down the street.
"Table for 15" Kate says to the host. "Right this way" we follow him to a table and sit down. We quickly order our food and wait. We played some eye spy, would you rather and truth or dare. "Here you go ladies" a couple of servers came with our food and set them down. We all ate and we took some photos. I took a photo of Cait, Gabs and Jada.

We then paid and walked to the stadium. "I'm so excited!" Gabbie says jumping around with Addison. We quickly find out seats which is next to where the Seattle Storm come out from.
"There she is!" Kate points to my sister who is walking out with her teammates to warm up. We chat and watch the team warm up. They are playing against Las Vegas Aces. "That could be you paying on the Aces one day" I tell Kate who is starring at them in awe.
"Yeah maybe" I smile watching her get all excited. I look over and see my sister looking around for us while dribbling her ball. When she finally makes eye contact with me, she smiles and runs up to us.
"Hey" she says coming up to us. I stand up and hug her and we start talking. "You ready?" I ask her. I felt Kate's hand around my waist. I don't know why but I'm not complaining. "Making sure she doesn't fall and there's a lot of people around" I heard Kate whisper behind me clearly talking to one of the girls.
"Win this one for me" I tell my sister. She nods and winks and we do our handshake (search up 'LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridge handshake' on YouTube. One will pop up saying 'LaMelo Ball & Miles Bridge have the cutest handshake after beating Kings' and click on that one and that will be Olivia and Eloise's handshake).
She then hugs and kisses my head before running off and joining her team. "That's so cute and everyone got that on video" Gabbie says after I sit down. I look around to see some people recording us but I ignore it.
I got a feeling that I will be seeing this on TikTok later on.
I heard my phone ding and I look to see that I got tagged in a video on TikTok. I raise an eyebrow and open the app and see the video of my sister and I doing the handshake we just did five seconds ago.
"Damn. They are fast" Kate says next to me seeing the video over my shoulder.
The game finally starts and we all get into it. Mom and dad texted that they were here but sitting somewhere else. "Bro that's a foul" I say to myself but Cait heard me and agreed.
During half time, I heard this family talk behind me about us. "That's the girl who hurt herself but she was like the best defender" I don't know who they were talking about but I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turn around and see a girl smiling at me. "You're Olivia Hartley right?" I nod and smile at the little girl. "I told you! She was like the best" I laugh at her. She's so cute. "Would you sign my book. I have everyone except you" I nod and she hands me her book and I sign it.
"Thank you. You should get back into the game. I've been dying to see on screen just like your sister" that melted my hair. "I'll definitely think about it" she nods and sits back down and talks to her family.
"I didn't know you had fans" Jada says from a few chairs down. "Well I use to. When I played" I totally miss it now. Seeing my sister, my new friends and the little girl speaking about me...it makes me want to play again.
Half time was almost over and I look up to the jumbo camera and see myself on there. How long was the camera on me for? I smile and wave earning everyone to cheer for me making me blush. "Awww" Kate says wrapping her arms around me and I'm hiding against her.
The second half started and we watched. I was in Kate's arms basically the whole time except if we had to stand up and cheer.
Our team was losing by two points and it was the other teams procession. My sister doesn't really shoot three's so what came next surprised all of us, even her. Kiana was guarding the ball, hard, and she stole the ball and chucked it to Skylar who passed the ball to Eloise who was at the three pint line.
"Shut up" I say grabbing Gabbie's hand. "I wasn't saying anything" she mumbles next to me. After Skylar passed the ball to my sister, there was 2 seconds left to the game. "Shoot" I whisper.
Eloise shoots the ball and we all watch it go in, in slow motion. The whole crowd cheered, her whole team ran onto the court and started cheering loud and jumping on her. "Eloise Hartley with her first three of this season" the announcer said making my heart skip a few beats.
After they celebrated, Eloise came to us and all gave us high fives and stopped at me to do our handshake again but this time at the end, we did a little jump, colliding into each other. "Je suppose que je dois t'acheter une crème glacée" (I guess now I have to buy you ice cream) I tell my sister making all the girls freeze and look at us.
"Was that French?"
"Kate you speak French. What did she say?"
"Yes you do" Eloise says and smiles at me and hugs me one more time. "Yayyyyyy" her whole team came from behind her and poured water on her head. My friends and I laugh at this funny moment.
After the game, we all waited for Ellie with mom and dad. "Ice cream and Liv is paying" Ellie says walking by us with a smirk. I groan and we all follow her out the building. I'm going to be broke after tonight.
