*3rd Person POV*

Knock knock

...

"(Y/N)? You in there?" April called out, standing outside her cousins door. "I just wanted to let you know that breakfast is ready!" April said, trying to cover up her sad tone with a cheerful one. When she didn't get a response, her shoulders dropped and she sighed.

April left the door, making her way downstairs and to the dining table. "No response from (Y/N) again today." She spoke, the words meant for Leo and Donnie, who were the only other two awake at the moment. Donnie spoke from his spot on the couch, tinkering with something, "That's because she's not in the house." Aprils head perked up and before she could ask what he meant, Leo spoke. "She got up earlier than usual and tended to the animals. She then went off into the forrest again." The blue masked turtle responded, not taking his eyes off the window he was sitting next to.

"Oh..." April said, slouching and leaning her head on her propped up hand.

It's been about 3 days since the incident with the mom-thing. The air in the house was awkward and tense. Whenever the teens saw (Y/N), they would try and apologize. But, she never gave them the chance to. She would either say she was busy at the moment, or just walk away before the others could finish their sentence. It didn't help that they would barely see (Y/N) as is, because she would leave early and come back late. No one could find her when they went searching for her in the woods too.

April sighed, "What are we gonna do?" Leo responded, "At this point, just wait until she's ready to talk." Donnie also sighed, his fist clenching the trinket, "Yeah..."

*Time Skip*
*(Y/N)'s POV*

'I'm in the forrest again. How long am I going to do this? Avoiding them... It's getting tiring.'

I shook my head, clearing the thoughts from my mind. 'I need to focus.' I look to my surroundings, seeing all of the sand bags I hung off of tree branches. I tighten my hold on my kyoketsu-shoge, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, relaxing.

I then open my eyes, getting into the correct stance. I started to swing the circular end of my weapon in a circle, alternating the sides to gain momentum. When I felt it was the right time, I swung to one of the targets, hitting it dead on. I quickly turn around and hit the target behind me as to not lose momentum. I repeated these actions for a few minutes before switching to the end with the blade.

A chill then ran up my spine. I was being watched.

Taking a deep breath, I shot the blade out while spinning in a full circle, cutting all of the bags of sand in one go. Immediately after, I switched ends again and kicked the circular part of my kyoketsu-shoge towards the treeline at full force. "OW!" A shout of pain, then a loud thud as the being watching me fell from out of the tree.

"Mikey?" I said in surprise once I saw who the being was. Said turtle sat up and rubbed his head nervously, "Hey, momma." I sighed before turning away from him. "What are you doing here?" I call out.

Mikey stood and nervously rubbed his hands together, "I-I um... I wanted to apologize." I don't move, thinking if I should hear him out or not. "I'm really sorry, (Y/N)..." Mikey spoke with a soft tone. Hearing him say your name like that made your defense crack.

Mikey continued, "What I did to you wasn't right. I knew deep down that  you were innocent... but I still listened to my brothers. I should have listened to you. I promise to stand up for you like you do for me. I hope you can forgive me..."

I turn to face Mikey with tears in my eyes, just to see tears in his. "One more time." I say, trying to keep my voice firm, "Promise me one more time while looking into my eyes." Mikey let out a shaky breath. "I promise." He spoke, his voice cracking.
