Y/N's P.O.V.
Getting that call from April at, basically, midnight was very alarming. Once the call was over, you started to get the rooms ready. The first room is bigger than yours and has bunk beds, a window, two dressers, a nightstand and a closet. So you figured two of Aprils friends could stay in there. The second room is the same as the first one, except it has one dresser and a walk-in closet. Another two of Aprils friends could stay in there. The third room is the same size as your room and has a single twin bed, a dresser, a window and a nightstand. You figured Aprils injured friend could stay in there while April stays in your room.

After dusting, sweeping and mopping all of the rooms, it was about 2 A.M. You then went downstairs into the kitchen to pull the first aid kit from under the sink to put it onto the dining room table. You then walked back upstairs, into your room, then onto your bed. You were going to be exhausted tomorrow, or should you say, this morning. Considering that you were going to be getting up in four hours and that you were going to be meeting new people. You were an introvert compared to most of your family members, and you only really opened up to them or really close friends. So you weren't super thrilled to meet new people. In all honesty, you're only allowing Aprils friends to stay because April asked you to. It's also what your parents would want you to do. You stopped yourself from thinking too much and forced yourself to go to sleep.

*Time Skip*

Elvis loud crowing jolted you awake. When you looked at your clock, it read: '6:17'. April and her friends should be here soon. You got up to do your morning routine, adding a shower into it. Once you were done and dressed, it was 6:52. Since they weren't here yet, you made yourself a cup of hot (tea/coffee). You went and sat on your porch steps, with mug in hand, to wait for April and her friends to pull up into the drive way.

About 7:05, you hear the sound of a car. Your heartbeat sped up and your hands go shaky and clammy. As you set your mug down, your uncles party wagon pulls into view and parks. Through the windshield you could see April turn around and say something to, who you assumed to be, her 'different' friends. Your eyes then drifted towards the driver. You could tell that he was a boy around yours and Aprils age. You could also tell that he has light peach colored skin, black hair, dark brown eyes and a black and white design bandanna wrapped around his forehead. When he turned to look at you, you shifted your eyes back to April, who was getting out of the van and walking towards you. When she was close enough, she greeted you. "Hey Y/N." "Hey April." You greet back as you hug her. "I'm really sorry about your dad, but I'm sure he's alright." "Thanks..." She mumbles as she buries her head into your shoulder.

You both stand there for a few seconds before she pulls away. "Now, about my different friends." She starts. "Please try not to freak out too much because we really need your help! Just keep in mind that they're basically like us, except they look different." You look down as you try to process this information and prepare yourself for what you're about to see. "Is your injured friend also one of your different friends?" You inquire. April nods in confirmation. "...Alright. I'm ready as I'll ever be." You end with a sigh. "Trust me Y/N. When you get to know them, you'll love them." She states as she walks back to the van. April pulls open the side door as the ravenette boy get out of the drivers seat to go and help her.

Never in a thousand years, you would have thought that humanoid turtles would step out of that van. Your breath hitched in your throat as you looked at them. All of them looked the same, but had their own little unique features. They all had different skin tones, eye colors, mask colors and height differences. Your eyes then wandered down towards the blue masked one, who was currently unconscious and severely bruised. If he was human, you thought that he would just be resting in a bed, but now you're not so sure. Would he be okay in a bed? Or would he possibly need to stay submerged in water because of his anatomy? Your questions would soon be answered as the red and purple masked turtles walked toward you, carry their injured friend. April, the ravenette boy and the orange masked turtle following close behind.
