It was now day two of Leo's resting before Raph gets a hold of him. You had set Leo up in the room April was staying and moved your cousin into your room yesterday. Currently, April, Donnie, and Raph were sitting at the table talking while you were in the kitchen making everyone omeletts, occasionally adding to the conversation. Mikey, Casey, and Leo were still sleeping, so you prepared the awake teens their breakfast first.
You had just served Raph and Donnie their omeletts and started on Aprils when Leo came down. He received cheerful good mornings from everyone, with him returning a not-so-enthusiastic one. "Everything alright Leo?" You immediately asked, concern clear in your voice. The ocean eyed turtle hesitated for a moment before answering you, "Yeah... I just didn't get a lot of sleep last night, so I'm a little tired." "Something keeping you up?" April questioned. Leo paused for a moment again before answering, "I don't know... it just feels like I'm missing something... but I don't know what that something is."
"I know what it is!" Raph suddenly shouts, "You need to get back to training! You're missing it!" You rolled your eyes at the red masked turtles statement, "I don't think that's it, Raph." In turn, he growled and glared at you before going back to angrily eat his omelette. "I'm sure you'll figure it out sooner or later Leo." Donnie reassuringly smiled at his older brother.

It was after lunch time now and everyone was off doing their own thing. Mikey and Raph were watching TV, April and Casey were training in the front yard, and Donnie was in his makeshift lab in the barn. Leo was with you in the back yard as you hung up laundry to dry. You guys weren't talking and were just enjoying the, somewhat, silence as Leo was sitting nearby and gently strumming your dads old acoustic guitar he found (he obviously asked for permission before using). Leo then started to play a familiar tune, which you recognized as 'Dream A Little Dream Of Me' by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. You unconsciously started to hum along to the tune, gradually turning the humming into gentle singing while still hanging up laundry.
Unbeknownst to you, Leo was entranced with your quiet singing. He even purposefully started to play quieter to hear you better. That calm and serene look on your face as you sang was so captivating to him, that he stopped playing completely without realizing it. The setting wasn't helping either, with the sun shining on you making every single one of your features soft looking, the wind gently blowing your hair in an attractive way, the flower petals and leaves of near by trees flowing past you, and the white sheets that you were hanging up were glowing in the sunlight, making you and your surroundings look angelic. He was bewitched, and he loved it.
You finished your singing and realized that Leo had stopped playing and looked over in his direction, just to see him already looking at you with half lidded eyes and a soft, gentle smile. You blushed and nervously called out to him, "L-Leo? Is e-everything alright?" His facial expression became one of surprise at being caught staring, but went to a calm one with a small smile. "Yeah, I just figured out why I haven't been sleeping well." He answered. Your eyes widened, "Really? How come?" You questioned.
Leo opened his mouth to respond, but a far off shout of your name stopped him. You both looked towards the side of the house to see Donnie waving at you, calling you over with a large smile on his face. Leo turned back to you and said with a small (but not so happy) smile: "I'll tell you later."

It was evening now, everyone was already in bed as you and Donnie were up on the roof, laying on a blanket and sipping on your famous cocoa. You two were laughing at a science joke he made, before falling into a comfortable silence. You guys were just enjoying each others company, watching the stars twinkle in their place. "I've missed this..." Donnie abruptly spoke. "Hm?" You hummed in a questioning tone. "I've missed spending time with you, just talking and watching the stars... I feel like we haven't done this for awhile." He cleared up. You thought back onto the last couple nights, and he was right. Before Leo woke up, you two weren't able to do this because Donnie stayed up late finishing up his medicine. And then when Leo woke up, things have been slightly hectic with everyone catching up with him.
"I'm sorry Donnie, I didn't even realize..." You frowned. "Hey, hey, it's okay!" He reassured, smiling at you. "I'm not mad, I'm just glad we're doing this again." He gave you that soft smile that you oh-so adored. He then gently grabbed your hand, entwinning your fingers. At this, the blush that was on your face darkened immensely. You looked away in embarrassment at your blush, and you could tell Donnie did too (at his own blush). After gaining some courage, you leaned your head on his shoulder, feeling him tense up at first before relaxing and leaning his head onto yours. Without realizing it, you both were screaming on the inside in excitement and thanking the stars above you for this moment.

You had just said goodnight to Donnie as he headed to bed and started to make your way to your own bed. As you were passing Leo's room, you heard him cough and quietly groan in pain. You paused, debating if you should knock or not as your hand hovered above the door. In the end, you decided to gently knock on his door, "Leo? Are you awake?" You then heard slight shuffling before getting an answer, "Yeah, you can come in."
You slowly opened the door to make as little as noise as possible then stepped in. You saw that Leo was sitting in his bed in an upright position, fully awake and looking tired, as he had the 'Space Hero's' comic you lent him in his hands (the bedside lamp was on, letting him see the pages). "Still can't sleep?" You questioned, still standing in the doorway. The ocean eyed turtle chuckled dryly, "Yeah, unfortunately." You gave him a sad smile in response, feeling bad for the turtle.
"Well... why haven't you been sleeping well? E-Earlier you said you figured it out." You clarified. Leo suddenly blushed before looking to the side, "O-Oh y-yeah... s-sorry if this sounds weird o-or freaks you out, a-and I understand i-if you don't ever want to t-talk to me again o-or see me-" "Leo." You cut him off, his eyes making contact with yours, "You're okay." You gave him a comforting smile. You could see Leo's shoulders relax at your words and smile.
"Well... to be honest... I haven't been sleeping well because of you." He said with a sheepish smile. Now, you definitely weren't expecting this and your eyes became wide. Leo noticed your reaction and immediately stuck both of his hands out in front of him, "I-I'm not saying it's your fault! I'm just s-saying that I'm not able to sleep without y-you... th-that I'm not able to sleep without h-hearing your v-voice..." he stuttered out, looking away from you in embarrassment (and with a giant blush).
Now, you definitely weren't expecting this and the blush you had on your face even went up to your ears. "Oh... u-um..." You had no idea what to say.
*Leo's POV*
I looked at her through the corner of my eye, only to see her looking down at the floor with a reddened face, she looked uncomfortable. I sighed in irritation at myself for being that idiotic enough to say that to her. "I'm sorry, I-" "Would you like me to sing to you?"
I paused, not sure if I heard her correctly. I looked up at her and those gorgeous, (e/c) eyes of hers met mine. She had that comforting small smile on her lips as she looked at me, waiting for my answer. And all I could mutter out was: "Please."
She then made her way over next to me, "Scooch." She said, gesturing for me to move over. As I moved over to give her room, I also lifted the blanket, hoping she would climb in with me. She did, but not before taking her shoes off. She leaned back onto the headboard of the bed and adjusted the blanket to her liking. "U-Um... Y/N?" I called out, heart racing at the request I was about to make. "Yes, Leo?" She responded, locking those sparkling eyes onto mine. Seeing those gems looking so intently at me made it ten times harder to ask her what I wanted to. But I somehow managed to gather up the courage, "C-Can I l-lean on y-you?"
Her eyes widened before closing into a happy, smiling face, "Of course you can, Leo!" She held her arms open for me. My heart stopped at her smiling features and welcoming arms. I positioned myself in her arms where my head was in the crook of her neck, my arms wrapped around her waist and my legs next to hers (almost entwining). I can hear her heart hammering along with mine, she most likely didn't realize we would be this close when she opened her arms to me. I gently smiled at the thought.
"What would you like me to sing?" She asked, her soft voice vibrating against me. "What you sang earlier today... that's the one I remember the most." I mumbled, already feeling sleepy in her presence. She softly chuckled, "Okay."
She then proceeded to gently sing to me, her head leaning against mine with her arms wrapped around my shoulders. The sound and feeling of her singing and her comforting scent lulled me so much, that I barely saw her turn off the lamp and feel her softly kiss the top of my head as I fell into a deep sleep.
