*2 Month (& 3 Week) Time Skip*

Well, it's been over two months since April and the boys came to your doorstep, asking for housing. A lot has happened since then; Donnie finished his mutagenic medicine for Leo, Raph transferred from sleeping in the bathroom to sharing Casey's room with him, April took up writing in a journal (at your suggestion) to relieve stress, and Mikey found a new favorite TV show: 'Crognard The Barbarian'. 

Currently, all six of you, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Casey, April, and you were in the back yard sparring. In the beginning of last month, April suggested that you practice with her and learn a few fighting moves. Once Donnie heard this, he completely shut down that idea, saying that it was too dangerous for you and that you could easily get hurt. In return, April stated that it was so you could learn self-defense to protect yourself. Donnie was still unsure but after your pleading to let you practice with them, he instantly gave in. So far, it was Raph versus Casey, Mikey versus Donnie, and April versus you. Since you're new to the whole ninjutsu style, you and April were practicing your defenses.

"Y'know Y/N, you're doing pretty good for a newbie," April started as you blocked one of her attacks. "You're keeping up a lot better than I did when I first started!" She finished. "You really think so? I feel like I'm falling behind a little bit..." You replied with an uneasiness present in your voice. "Yeah! If anything, you're ready to start learning different attacks and offenses!" She stated proudly, but before you could reply Raph called out to her. "Hey April! When are you gonna come practice with us?" April sighed in slight irritation before calling back to him, "Raph, I'm helping Y/N practice right no-" but before she could finish, you interrupted her. "April, it's okay. You can go and train with the boys." She looked back at you with a questioning look, "Are you sure?" "Of course! Plus, I know you want to." You responded with a small smile. April gave you a hesitant look for a few seconds before smiling and giving you a tight hug. "Thanks! You're the best!" "And don't you ever forget that!" You called back to your red head cousin as she ran towards Raph. 

After she joined Raph, you noticed that Mikey, Donnie and Casey weren't really training anymore. I mean, Mikey still had his nunchucks out but he was mostly just jumping around and letting out the cliché "ninja shouts". Donnie was observing Raph and April's fight while Casey was observing Donnie. The unsuspecting turtle didn't realize he was being watched until he heard a loud: "Goongala!" from behind him. Instantly turning around, he pulled out his bo staff and blocked the hockey stick attack from the one and only Casey Jones. At this you heard Raph say: "You gotta be quick to train with ninjas!" You turn to look at the red head and the hot head to see Raph dodging all of Aprils tessen attacks, as you found out that's what the metal fan is called. "Sorry April!" Raph cockily called as he kicked your cousins feet from under her. Before she hit the ground, she was able to flip onto her knees. As Raph was standing with his hands on his hips in a false win, April jumped up and gave him an uppercut. You winced at the contact of April's fist to Raph's face as said turtle was knocked to the ground.

"I'm almost a full-on kunoichi!" April yelled at the dazed red masked turtle that was still laying on the ground. "Awe Yeah!" Mikey came up to his brother, "Gotta be quick if you wanna be hangin' with the ninjas, dog!" You gave a small chuckle at the youngers comeback, then looked over to April, only to see her looking at Donnie and Casey. You, too, looked over to the duo, only to see them still battling each other. "Sweet moves Donnie!" Casey called out to his opponent while blocking his attack. Afterwards, Casey hurled his hockey stick towards Donnie, who ducked under being missed by the stick. While Donnie was distracted with dodging the flying stick, Casey called out: "Eat this!" While pulling out a, what you assumed it to be based on its looks, homemade sling shot, catapulting rocks at the turtle. In return, Donnie shouted out: "Ow! Cheap shot!" Before promptly throwing his bo staff at the ravenette then tackled said ravenette to the ground.
