*Y/N's POV*

It was the next morning as you were in the kitchen starting hot water for you and Donnie. You were also trying to be as quiet as possible as to not wake a sleeping Leo on the couch. As you were setting up the cups for yours and Donnie's morning drinks, you heard footsteps behind you. You turned around to see a sleepy Donnie walking into the kitchen towards you. You chuckled at his drowsy state and whispered out a good morning, getting a incoherent response back. The zombie-like turtle then made his way to the dining table and plopped himself into a chair, laying his head onto his folded arms and closed his eyes. You let out another soft chuckle at his sleepy behavior, finding it quite cute. You then made your way over to the hot tea kettle and took it off the burner before it whistled to signify that the water is done boiling. You then made Donnie his coffee the way he likes it and made yourself (coffee/tea) the way you liked. You picked up both of the steaming mugs and made your way to the table, setting Donnie's mug in front of his arms and setting yours in font of the chair across from the purple masked turtle. You turned around to head back into the kitchen, only to see Leo standing there. You, obviously didn't know that he was there, so like a normal person, you screamed. This caused Leo to jump in surprise and Donnie to jump to his feet in alert at your fearful shout.

"Leo! You scared me!" You shouted, a hint of fear still present in your voice. "I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention." Said turtle sheepishly rasped out. You let out a nervous chuckle, "It's okay, just give me a warning next time." You then felt a hand on your shoulder, you turn your head to see Donnie giving you a concerned look, "Are you alright?" You placed one of your hands on top of his, "Yeah, I'm fine." You said as you gave him a smile, him returning one.

You removed your hand from Donnie's and turned to Leo, "Do you need anything Leo? Are you hungry or would you like for me to make you some tea? Or both?" Leo paused for a bit, looking to the side, before looking back to you, "What kind of tea's do you have?" You smiled at him before heading back into the kitchen, "I have peach, peppermint, black cherry, blueberry, chai, white tea, black tea, chamomile, green tea, and so many more." You chuckled. "But I'd assume that you'd want green tea, right?" You questioned, looking back to the ocean-eyed turtle. Leo's face was one of surprise, before a small and relaxed smile took over, "Yeah, how'd you guess?" You chuckled at the memory before replying with: "Mikey. He told me a lot about you. Not that Donnie and Raph didn't, Mikey just spoke about you the most." "All good things I hope." Leo chuckled. "Obviously." You laughed as you prepared his tea.

*Time Skip*

Everyone was done eating breakfast and were out on their daily routine while you were cleaning up the dishware. You were deep in thought thinking about this morning as you were cleaning up. It was slightly awkward with Leo now there, it's not that you didn't like the guy, you just didn't know him... well you knew of him, just not him personally. So as a result, you were your shy self again. You would talk with him, but you weren't as open with him as you would be with anyone else in the household. And a weird thing you would notice occasionally was that whenever you were talking with Leo or when he would make you chuckle and smile, Donnie would give you and Leo a weird look. You don't know how to describe it, except that Donnie's eyebrows would furrow very slightly (to where it was barely noticeable) and his eyes would gain a... negative emotion. You don't know exactly which emotion, but it wasn't a good one. And when he would get this look, he would stare down Leo. If you noticed all of this, then Leo definitely did, probably sooner than you did. But neither of you said anything about Donnie's strange behavior.

"Would you like me to help with anything?" A voice suddenly said behind you, causing you to jump and let out a shout of surprise. You turned around just to see Leo sheepishly staring at you. You let out a sigh of relief after realizing it was just him, "I need to get you a bell or something." "Sorry, I don't mean to sneak up on you." Leo mumbled out. You let out a soft chuckle, "You're alright." That's when you noticed that he was leaning heavily on one of the dining room chairs while holding his side. "Leo, you can sit down if you want." You gestured to the chair he was leaning on. "No, I'm alright." He strained out, "I can help you clean up." As he started to limp his way over to you, he seized up in pain and his legs started to give out. You bolted over and grabbed his biceps to steady him, but he was a lot heavier than you anticipated, and in results, you both fell to the floor.
