I cuddled closer into my new blankets and sighed. Sleep did not come to me last night, and I could see the sun starting to rise.
My mind had been a whir. My friends had replaced me with the new girl, Wanda. Jarvis was now an actual, physical person, and Tony had created another being, Ultron. Also, Jarvis had claimed to have killed Ultron, but I knew otherwise. He was still out there, he had to be.
Around 1 in the morning, the team came home. I could hear their laughter, and the occasional clink of glasses. No one ever came to check up on me.
So, I lay there, in my bed, waiting. I waited until someone came.
But, no one ever did.
I was still lying in bed come dinner time. No one had once peeped into my room to see me.
My feelings of hurt quickly turned into mild feelings of depression.
I was the newest member of the Avengers. I was their friend. I was the one who should be in the room next to Natasha. Me, not Wanda. Me.
She shouldn't be here.
"Child."
I screamed and bolted upright.
It was her. It was Mother Frigga. She was standing in my room.
"Mother Frigga, I-" I didn't finish, because I burst into sobs.
"There there, child. What is wrong?" She question, embracing me and running her fingers through my knotted hair.
"Oh, everything! I thought that everything would be great once that we for back to the tower, but I was wrong. So horribly and stupidly wrong," I explained, sobbing into her shoulder.
"Is this about the new girl?" Mother Frigga asked.
I pulled out of her embrace to look up at her. "Yeah."
She smiled sadly and nodded. "I understand. But, my child, you have to realize that this new girl has a lot of recent grief that she is carrying with her, and your friends need to keep her close to them. It will all settle down soon, I promise."
For the first time, I didn't believe her. "You're wrong. Something is going on that I have no clue about, and it something big. I can feel it, Mother Frigga. It's a gut feeling, and I know something is just going to happen."
She blinked, not replying. "You sense it too?" She asked, quietly.
I swallowed. "Yeah, I guess."
Mother Frigga stood and started pacing across my small room. "I feel that something is very off with the forces of the universe. It is so strong that it even has reached me, a dead woman. It worries me so much that I can't help but be glad I am no longer alive to witness it personally."
"What do I do? There is something coming and I am so confused!" I exclaimed, my voice rising.
Instead of answering my question, Mother Frigga turned to me and smiled. "I know about you and my son, and I most definitely approve. I can also help somewhat with your mortality."
I started to cry. So many things were being crammed into my head at once, that it was painful.
Loud footsteps echoed down the hallway.
I glanced towards Mother Frigga who was fading.
"May the gods be with you, my dear child," she said before disappearing. Would I ever see her again?
"Avallone!" A voice yelled, making me groan and hold my head in my hands.
It was Thor.
"Leave her. She's been moping all day to get some attention," a voice said sternly. I glanced up to stare at Natasha, dumbfounded. My best friend just said that.
Everyone nodded and left the room, including Loki who was just shaking his head.
I was plunged back into my lonely state.
That was when the real pain started, and the world suddenly became filled with flashing colors.

Natasha's P.O.V.
Once I left Avallone's room, I regretted my harsh words. I had seen the hurt in her eyes, but I knew that Wanda was hurting more. My focus should be on her.
"Don't you think were a little too harsh on Avvy back there?" Clint asked me as we walked back to the elevator.
I shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't about to admit that I was wrong.
"No, she deserved it. She has been acting like a big baby ever since she met Wanda."
He frowned and shook his head, but I shushed him before he could argue.
I didn't want our last conversation to be a fight.
He was going back to his wife and kids now, and I wouldn't be seeing him for a while.
We hugged for a short while before he got into the sleek silver car and drove away.
I made my way back into the tower and up to the top floor where the rest of the team, excluding Bruce were. He had taken off right after dinner.
"So, Legolas is gone?" Tony asked, a smile on his face. I nodded my answer and sat down on the couch next to Wanda.
I had been sticking to her side as much as possible, so she didn't feel left out.
"You are really smothering me, Natasha," Wanda said, walking away. I frowned and stood to follow her, but Steve blocked my path with a warning look.
"She needs her space Nat. Just leave her for a few hours or so," he commanded.
I sat back down with a huff.
Suddenly, I heard Wanda scream and her footsteps coming quickly towards us. My pistol was in my hands instantly, and everyone was ready.
But, she entered alone, looking crazy, and holding something in her hand.
A necklace.
Avallone's necklace.
Loki instantly grabbed it from her, demanding where she got it.
"I went to her room to try speak with her, but she wasn't there, but there were strange markings on the floor, and her necklace," she explained in her thick accent.
Loki and Thor hurried to her room, with the rest of us trailing behind them.
"These are Asgardian markings," Thor said, touching the markings that were embedded into the carpet.
Loki nodded his assent.
"So, she's in Asgard?" I questioned. Everyone turned to me, surprise etched onto their faces.
"Seems like moments ago, you didn't care where she was," Loki hissed, taking a menacing step towards me.
Thor held him back and continued his search through her room.
Tony, on the other hand, asked his AI system, I forget which one, to bring up the footage of her room in the past hour.
We all watched in horror as the video showed her conversing with a glowing figure. It was clearly a woman, whose countenance was fair.
"Mother," Loki whispered quietly.
So it was their mom? I thought that she was dead.
"But she's dead, right?" Tony asked, flicking the video off.
Thor nodded. "Yes. Their communication should be impossible."
"But, we know that she had seen Mother before. The proof is with this necklace," Loki said, holding up the blue amulet. She had told me that she had gotten it from a grandparent.
"So, somehow, she has been transported to Asgard, most likely with the help of your dead mother?" I question, disbelievingly.
"Yes. I must call Heimdall." Thor grabbed Loki's arm and they made their way to the balcony.
"Wait, shouldn't we come with you?" Tony asked as we followed them.
"No. Father isn't overly find of having mortals in Asgard," Thor said before he called for Heimdall and they disappeared in a flurry of colors.
