The man stepped into the small town and instantly hated it. God, it was hot. Sure, with the fact that he had the A/C in the jet running as cold as he could get it and he naturally had more temperature resistance than average people it could definitely be worse, but it was still hot. Hotter than California, even.

He was so glad they had gotten moved to Washington D.C., it was much cooler there.

He landed on base, getting out and facing both Clint and Phil right as his boots hit the ground. "The bird and the fanboy. There's poetry in there somewhere." He quips, Clint snorting.

"Very funny, Ghost. How was your flight?" The man asked.

Painful. And he has to wipe his seat because his stitches tore mid-flight and he had to fix it.

"It was a flight. So, what did St. Nick mean by this was extraterrestrial?" Ghost asked.

Barton spoke up as they walked, Ghost following and Coulson stepping behind them.

"This object fell out of the sky, and nothing can move it. Not even us. So, we built this around it." He motions all around.

They get closer to the center, Ghost humming while Phil adds, "We had an intruder break in and get to it-"

Barton cuts him off, simply saying, "What Coulson means to say is he broke in then completely demolished most of the agents stationed here to get to it. He tried to lift it up, couldn't, and cried to the sky."

Ghost hums again, then they step into the center, and he freezes.

"No... fucking... way..." He releases.

"What?" Phil questioned, Ghost immediately crouching down and shifting over to it. He crouches, looking around where it landed and seeing the glass.

"This... this is legendary. Do you not know what this is?" He asks, pointing to it, turning around and looking up at the two.

"No. Should we?" Clint asked.

Ghost hangs his head before perking back up, then standing up, letting a hand drop onto the handle. "This is Mjolnir." He tells them, saying it flawlessly.

Coulson raises his eyebrows. "The what now?"

However, Clint recognizes it. "Thors hammer Mjolnir? That Mjolnir?" The man asks.

Ghost nods. "Yeah. I mean, fell from the sky... absurdly heavy... a goddamn hammer... definitely alien, but it also sounds like a god. Plus? The strange scorch mark. I found ancient texts that described something similar."

Coulson looked slightly open to the idea, but still skeptical. "So... we're saying that this is a gods weapon. And that we had a god in custody?"

Ghosts head swirled to him. "You had fucking Thor in custody? Why didn't you lead with that, Phil!?" He asks incredulous.

Clint grinned like an idiot, while Coulson gave him a look. "Because I didn't know that you believe that gods are real." The agent responded.

Ghost holds a finger on the hand that's not on the hammer up. "Actually, I still don't believe that gods are real. I believe that they are an alien race with higher durability and longer lifespans, some of which having a benign power and ancient humans simply perceived them as gods. I think that there is a shit ton of alien life out there, and these gods are just one race. A very powerful race, but a race nonetheless." He definitely knew there were thousands of different species throughout the galaxy, thanks to Carol, but he couldn't exactly tell that to Clint.

The archer hums. "Makes sense." He replies. "Try to lift it. I dare you." The guy tells his friend.

Ghost turns around idly, then grips it and gives a slight pull, not expecting it to move just like everyone else. But that's where it doesn't completely go right.
