Endeavor stood rigid, flames flaring around him. The memory of Izuku's words at the U.A. Sports Festival still stung—being insulted in front of a massive crowd was not something he could forget. Today, he would exact his revenge.

Hawks: Why does the Commission think this is a good idea? "he thought to himself. He had tried to convince them to ally with Izuku, but their arrogance had blinded them".
Mirko cracked her knuckles, bouncing lightly on her feet.
Mirko: Finally, a real challenge, "she said with a grin. She had witnessed Izuku's strength during the Monarch incident and was eager to test her mettle against him".
Best Jeanist and Edgeshot were calm but calculating. They exchanged nods, silently formulating strategies to counter Izuku's overwhelming power.
Star and Stripe stood tall, her presence exuding authority.
Star: This kid better be as strong as they say, "she thought, her lips curling into a smirk. She had taken this request from the Commission out of curiosity and a sense of duty".
