You were sitting on the couch at home, having just finished cleaning up a bit. You were scrolling on your phone and letting your muscles relax. Without warning, your girlfriend, Jenna, called you. This was extremely unusual for her, especially in the middle of a workday.

She always took filming very seriously, almost never taking a break, and definitely not calling you. The most you would often get in a day was a good morning text, a few I love you's, a miss you here and there, and a goodnight text if she wasn't going to be home that night.

Worry filled you as a million different scenarios raced through your head. Had something happened? Was she okay? Was it good or bad news? Maybe a butt dial? But, you knew that none of these questions would be answered if you didn't pick up, so you quickly slid the green button to the right, bringing the phone up to your ear.

"Baby? Are you okay? What's-" You began, trying to keep your voice calm in case something was wrong. Before you were able to finish your sentence her voice cut you off, she was clearly frustrated and maybe even on the verge of tears.

"I c-can't this damn scene right!" She barked out, her anger clear in the tone of her voice. "I just... we have filmed it seventeen times already and I keep messing up and-" She began to ramble, her mind working faster than she could even keep up with.

"Woah, hey, slow down love. It's alright." You spoke softly, your voice taking on a more comforting tone. Jenna was definitely a perfectionist in most aspects of life, even more so when it came to her job, so you knew small mistakes could really weigh heavy on her shoulders. "Just talk to me, sweetheart."

You heard her take a deep shaky breath on the other side of the phone, a clear sign of her attempting to calm down. You waited in silence for a few moments before she spoke again, her voice trembling and barely audible. "C-could you just come to see me? Please?"

Your heart ached at the broken tone of her soft pleading words, your mind not even wasting a moment before answering with a quick 'of course.' She hung up the phone and you stood from the couch, grabbing your things and darting to the car.

Jenna rarely let you come to where she was filming, joking that your pretty face would be too much of a distraction. Of course, you knew the real reason was much deeper than that. When she was in the midst of work she often forgot that it was okay to rest for a moment, and she was too scared to possibly snap at you in moments like this, so it was easier if you just stayed away.

The car ride passed by in a blur and you pulled into the parking lot of the set she was currently on. All of the security personnel already knew who you were, so they let you go by, pointing you in the direction of Jenna's trailer.

You walked up the small set of steps and softly knocked as you pushed the door open, looking around the small space for your girlfriend. "Jen?" You called out quietly, not sure if she was already there or still on her way from the set.

You were met with silence as you walked in and shut the door behind you. You knew she couldn't be more than a few minutes behind you, so you quickly kicked your shoes off and sat on the couch to wait for her. You couldn't stop your mind from racing as you thought about the state she may be in. She already sounded distressed on the phone earlier, and you doubted it had gotten any better during your drive there.

Before you could dwell on it too much, the door to the trailer swung open, an an exhausted and emotional Jenna stepping through. As soon as she realized you were there, you could see the relief wash over her, her shoulders dropping and her eyebrows knitting together.

"Hi..." You whispered softly as you stood from the couch. Without giving you the chance to speak anymore she rushed forward into you. Her arms circled your waist as she hid her face on your shoulder, the scent of her perfume filling your nose.

You instantly wrapped your arms around her in response, burying your face in her hair as your hands gently rubbed up and down her back. You could tell from her body language that all she needed in this moment was to be held, and that was exactly what you were going to do.

After a few minutes of standing there in silence, your hands running over her back in soothing circles and pressing a few soft kisses to her hair, you felt tears soak through the front of your shirt. As soon as you realized, you softly cupped her face in your hand, tilting her head so you could look down at her.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong my love?" You cooed softly as you looked into her teary brown eyes, wanting to do everything you could to take away whatever it was making her feel like this. Her lower lips trembled and her grip on you tightened a bit.

"I'm just s-so stressed and tired." She cried softly, a few tears rolling down her cheeks as you wiped them away with your thumbs. You nodded as you gently led her over to the small couch, sitting down and pulling her onto your lap.

"Do you want to talk about it?" You whispered as you kissed the top of her head, moving your arms around her to make sure she felt safe and protected. You didn't want to push her into talking if all she needed was for you to be there, that is what you would do.

"I don't even know what to say at this point..." she sniffled, hiding her face in the crook of your neck, her breath softly tickling you. You gently ran your hand up and down her side, earning a relaxed sigh from the small girl.

"I love you so much, and I'm so so proud of you." You whispered against her hair, hoping that some soft words of reassurance would be enough to make her feel better in the moment. "And I'm here for you Always. When I said always and forever, I meant it, baby."

She turned her head to look at you, her eyes softening a fraction as a slight smile appeared on her lips. You could tell by the look on her face that your words had sunk in, being a soothing balm to her aching emotions.

"I don't know what I would do without you." She replied, her voice barely audible as her eyes darted between yours. You smiled and brushed some hair behind her ear, letting your hand linger and gently cup her cheek.

"And you will never have to know my love, you're stuck with me." You took this opportunity to press a soft kiss to her lips, your hand cradling her face as hers gently clung to your shirt.

"I love you." She mumbled into the kiss, her breath mingling with yours. "Forever."

"I love you."
