AS THE WEEKS PASSED, none of the boys or Lora spoke with Sirius. It had been as though he was barred from the marauders, and it felt worse than when he went home for Christmas the year he was placed in Gryffindor.

Everyone had taken notice of the disbanded group, how could they not when the halls were eerily silent and classes ended with no disruptions. Though despite the disturbingly calm atmosphere that now loomed over the school, no one had been able to figure out one thing, what had happened?

The only issue was that the Christmas holiday was coming up in the next week, and James could hardly look at Sirius, let alone live in the same house as the boy who was responsible for his cousin almost getting killed and nearly making his friend a murderer.

Lora was sitting at her tree with Sebastian, her back against his chest and her hands intertwined with his as they lay in her lap. The betrothed had a blanket made for Lora by her Aunt Euphemia that had been charmed to stay warm no matter how cold it was outside. And it was near freezing.

"Will I see you over the holiday?" Sebastian asked her, his voice soft as he buried his chin into her shoulder and tightened his hold on her.

"I expect our mothers will want help with wedding preparations," the girl yawned, the artificial heat from the blanket causing the girl to fall asleep.

Sebastian chuckled at her, "do you want to make our way back in?" he asked, smiling when he felt her nod. He placed a kiss on her cheek and pushed her forward so he could get up and then help her.

She kept the blanket draped over her shoulders and her body tucked under Sebastian's arm. The pair walked back to the castle just as it started to snow. Lora paused just before she stepped under the covering, tilting her head back and trying to catch snowflakes as they fell.

The action brought her back to the night she and the boys completed the process of becoming animagi. It had been storming out, and she tilted her head back to catch the raindrops. Music surrounded the group from nowhere as they played and danced as animals.

Sebastian laughed at her from undercover, "what are you doing?" he asked her, not daring to stay out in the snow.

Lora looked at him, melted snowflakes and a beaming smile on her face, "catching snowflakes," she giggled, grabbing his hand and dragging him out with her before tilting her head back up and sticking her tongue out. The Slytherin boy chuckled and shook his head at her, joining the girl in the childish action.
