"GO UP TO YOUR ROOMS CHILDREN," Evelyn Peverell said to her kids, all three heading towards the stairs without a word, "not you Loralie," She called out to the blonde.

Lora gulped and turned around to head back to her parents. Nathan grabbed her wrist and looked at her, she only nodded, silently telling him she would be alright.

"A Hufflepuff Loralie?" Charles asked his daughter the second Nathaniel and Colleen had left and Lora was standing with the adults, "after all we've done for you, you go and find a Hufflepuff?"

Loralie looked down, biting her bottom lip nervously, "could you really not go one year without disgracing this family more than you already have?" Charles continued to pester her.

"And no doubt a boy older than you, who only wishes to take from you what cannot be returned," he accused, "we expected better from you, you were supposed to do great things your mother and I had it all planned out and you had to go and ruin it."

Loralie took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she let it out, "I am sorry father," she said in an almost monotone, "it won't happen again," she continued, her voice now completely empty of emotion.

"I don't believe you are," Charles told her, "and I also don't believe you will not allow this to happen again," he continued, his voice getting louder with each word now.

"We're not mad Loralie," Evelyn said, breaking the silence that had rested upon the three, "we're just disappointed."

"I understand," Lora told her, looking up at her mother, "shall I go owl him and break it off or would you like too?"

Charles looked at her with anger burning behind his eyes and Lora took it as her que to leave while she still could.

Loralie ducked her head down slightly and left the area to head up to her room, mentally scolding herself for being so stupid as to think she would be able to hide something such as this from her dreadful parents.

Lora turned into her room, letting Stereo out of her cage and giving her a hug before placing her on the bed. The blonde then sat down at her desk, plucking a piece of parchment from the tidy pile in the corner.

Amos,

I'm sorry to have to inform you of this in such way, but my parents found out about our situation and aren't quite approving.
