COLLEEN PEVERELL DOESNT REGRET ANY of her actions or her words she had ever said. She doesn't regret the situations she's been put in or the people she's met. Regret just isn't in her nature.

But she is disappointed in herself.

Disappointed that she doesn't have a connection with her sister like she used to. Disappointed that she's put her brother through many years of horrible sibling outings. Disappointed that she's isolated herself from her real family to make a half as good new one.

She never meant to do any of that. But with her siblings at their first year of Hogwarts, it left no one to play with, no one to protect her against her parents beliefs, no one to cheer her up or fix her when her parents molded her into the perfect daughter.

She was jealous that Nate and Lora had made new friends. Jealous that Lora had broken free of the family's traditions. Jealous that she was getting replaced by that girl Marlene as Lora's sister.

Her jealousy turned into anger and then her anger turned into resentment and that resentment soon turned to a want for retaliation.

Taken out as hurtful words, isolation, and doing the same thing to Lora as Lora had done to her, finding a new sister.

Colleen never thought to explain herself or her actions to anyone, she never really thought about them in general. She just knew she wanted to hurt Lora the same way she was hurt.

She had been walking down the halls of Hogwarts, in her head about a lot of things. But mostly she had been thinking ab how horribly she had been treating her sister.

Had she been paying attention she would have seen Loralie duck into a broom cabinet with Mulciber. She would have seen her sisters actual boyfriend wandering towards her with his head down, missing his girlfriend after these past few weeks.

She would have heard the obnoxiously loud sound of her cousin laughing behind a corner and booming over the sweet giggle of Lily Evans. She would have heard the not so subtle whispers of her two older best friends before they went silent and all that was heard were soft moans that were also covered up by James.

She would have witnessed perfectly the utter chaos of the hallway where so many secrets were taking place. She would know them and be able to hold them over the others, not that she would ever talk to a Gryffindor.
