"LORA STOP WALKING AWAY FROM ME!" Nathaniel had been chasing his sister around Hogwarts all morning and couldn't get her to stop walking away.
He had told her at breakfast that today was the day they would be going to Hogsmeade as a family, minus Evelyn and Charles of course, and after the stunt that Colleen had pulled the day prior, Lora couldn't think of a worse way to spend her Saturday.
"I will not spend a day out with that bitch that you call a sister after what she did to my relationship, Nate!" Lora called over her shoulder, speeding up her pace.
Nathaniel groaned and jogged to catch up to his twin, grabbing her arm when she was in reach, "Lora, what she did wasn't good but she did what she thought was best, what we all thought was best," he told her, "Sirius should know what's going on instead of having to assume the worst-"
"But now he knows the worst! He knows that I'm going to have to marry Marcel! And he knows that I've been spending time with him! And he's going to start thinking that I don't mind!" Lora cried, shaking her arm out of her brothers grasp, "he's already stopped talking to me and I've seen him once in the last twenty four hours and he left the second he saw me! Sirius hates me and is never going to forgive me and it's all Colleen's fault!"
"Lee stop! Stop!" Nathaniel said, placing his hands on her arms and pulling her in for a hug when he saw the girl start trying to hold back her tears, "it is nobody's fault, alright? Colleen couldn't have known that he would react in the way that he has and neither could you. Sirius is hurt and angry at the world and he's taking it out in the only way that he knows how and it just so happens to be directed at you," he comforted her, holding the girl tight in his hold.
"Colleen is so sorry that she told him and hurt you in the process, you should have seen her when she walked into the common room yesterday. She practically ignored Regulus and totally bypassed Vanessa and Prince when they all tried to comfort her and she came to me on the brink of tears," he told her, feeling her start to calm down, "you know her, and you know that she has never felt remorse for anything in her life, except now she has, and she regrets betraying you in the way she did."
Loralie took a few deep breaths, sniffling each time, "good," she said, still clinging to her brother, "she should feel bad," she continued, wiping her tear stained and snot filled face onto her brothers jumper before pulling away.
Nathaniel cupped her cheeks and wiped the remaining tears from her cheeks, giving her a sad smile, "she loves you Lee," he told her making his twin scoff.
