"COME ON LEE, JUST TALK to him," Remus practically begged the girl. Ever since the kiss a few days ago Lora hadn't even tried to talk to Sirius out of fear that she would say something she didn't want to say.

Loralie thought it over for a second in her head, "I'll talk to him if you talk to that pretty blonde Hufflepuff you like," She bargained, a knowing grin growing on her lips.

Remus's face paled, his mouth falling open, "I - how do - hang on - what?" He stuttered, looking at the blonde with narrowed eyes and furrowed brows.

She smiled innocently at him, "what? It's not that far fetched," she told him, "I mean, you stare at her all the time."

"No I don't," Remus denied with a scoff, "and even if I did you can't talk, you're always staring at Sirius."

"I don't stare, I glare," Lora said, "there's a difference," she pouted, leaning over the sofa back and falling over it into a laying position.

"Look, here he is now," Remus smirked, "Sirius!" He called their friend over. Loralie turned and looked at the now open portrait hole and watched the boy walk through.

"I bloody hate you!" Lora whispered yelled at the lanky boy smirking down at her.

"You'll thank me in a few years, you'll see," Remus told her, walking away from the blonde once Sirius reached them. Lora glared at him one last time getting an encouraging smile and two thumbs up.

"Hey," Sirius awkwardly started, picking Lora's legs up and putting them on his lap when he sat down and looked into the golden brown of her eyes, "listen about the other day-"

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have just walked away and been a subtle bitch about it," Loralie cut him off.

"No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you at all it was a bad move on my part," Sirius told her, pinching the bridge of his nose.

         "You don't have to apologize,"

"No, no I want to, I was running away from my own problem and I shouldn't have brought you into it," he continued, not looking at her but rather the fire in front of him that always seemed to be burning, "forgive me?"
