"YOU TWO WILL BE CLEANING out my cupboards, all of them, no magic," McGonagall told Loralie and Sirius the second they stepped foot in her classroom for detention.
"Again?" Lora whined, looking between her professor and the cupboards her and Sirius had organized the day before, "how do cupboards get unorganized over night Minnie?"
"Stop complaining or you will be doing this when you come back in September," McGonagall sternly said.
"Am I allowed to stand on a chair to reach the top shelf at least?" Lora asked with an innocent smile. McGonagall only peered over her glasses at the blonde then went back to whatever professors do, "okay."
Detention was quiet for the most part. Occasionally Sirius and Lora would look at each other and start randomly laughing or when moving to a different cupboard Sirius would grab her hand and twirl her around.
Severus didn't have detention with them, McGonagall afraid another fight would break out.
Lora started on her last cupboard, Sirius finishing up his and walking over to wrap his arms around her waist from behind, her hands going over his, "I love you," he whispered into her ear.
"I love you too," she mumbled, leaning back into his chest, "don't leave me please?"
"Never," he said, kissing her cheek then her lips, "promise," Lora smiled and kissed him again before turning back to organizing the cupboard.
Minerva looked up from her book and saw the two, Sirius reaching the higher shelf's for Lora and making fun of her for being short. McGonagall smiled lightly at them.
She saw how much they loved each other, how much they needed each other. Minerva dreaded the day one of them dies, Merlin forbid.
She watched her daughter figure and one of her favorite students with a fond smile, glancing away when Lora kissed Sirius to make him stop laughing at her.
McGonagall cleared her throat, getting the two teenagers attention on her, "you two know why you are serving detention correct?" She asked, an eyebrow raised in question.
"Because Snivellus is an arsehole who can't take a punch from a girl?" Lora asked cheekily. Sirius let out a bark of laughter, McGonagall having to hold hers in but rolled her eyes.
