SIRIUS STOOD IN THE MIDDLE of the aisle, looking at Loralie. From the moment he saw her through the doors he knew he had to do something. He had to say something. He couldn't just sit by and watch as the girl who had been inhabiting his every thought married another guy. He had to tell her before it was pointless.

All of her friends jumped out of their seats, running to pull him away. They all knew how hard this was for the blonde, they didn't want Sirius to make it worse with whatever he was going to say.

The boy fought his way out of their grasps, James being the only one to maintain his hold and trying to push him back the way he came but Sirius didn't budge, "James let me go," Sirius demanded, "I need to say something."

Sebastian looked at the girl, Lora unable to tear her eyes from the struggling boy, he sighed, "let him go James," Sebastian said.

James looked at Sebastian before looking at Lora who still couldn't look away from Sirius and stepped back, "I don't know what happened between us Lora," Sirius began, pausing to think of what he wanted to say, "but I know that my heart aches for you. You walk into a room and my body screams at me to go to you. I close my eyes and there you are, smiling, laughing, dancing. You haunt my dreams and yet, I hope to see you there the next night," he confessed, taking slow steps towards her.

Loralie couldn't help but feel as though she was suffocating. Air trapped itself in her throat, her dress was suddenly too tight.

"I lay in bed, and I am instantly surrounded by your perfume, I don't even know when you were in my bed last but I don't wash my pillow sheet because then I would be giving you up and damnit I don't want to. You are too entangled in my life that I don't think I would be able to live if I didn't tell you that I," he paused, willing himself to say it, "I love you, Loralie Peverell. I love you and I won't stop telling you, I can't stop," he finally reached her, softly pulling her hand into his and getting on his knees in front of her, "my heart will always be yours."

"Sirius," Lora whispered, her voice not trusted to be any louder, "you have to stop. Please," she begged, pulling her hand away, tears beginning their trek down her cheeks.

"Please, Lee."

It was then that James walked forward and pulled Sirius up, leading him away from the ceremony. The Black boy turned around as he walked through the door, eyes locking with Lora's for one last fleeting moment before the door closed.
