LORALIE WOKE UP ON THE twenty second in her bed at the Peverell mansion. Her hair messy from her restless nights sleep and Stereo in the far corner of her bed, afraid that the blond would have hit her.

The girl slowly got dressed into a nice cream colored skirt and pairing it with a deep red button up blouse that she tucked in. She pulled her golden hair into a half up style and did her make up, figuring she may as well look nice to get an accurate image of what she would look like on her wedding day.

She looked at herself in the mirror once she was done, plastering a smile on her face, though even Stereo knew that it was fake. Seeing the cat looking at her, Lora let her smile fall slightly until it was soft and real, the pain in her eyes giving her away. She turned around and gave the cat a kiss on her forehead, dropping her head so that Stereo could copy her actions by putting her nose to Loras forehead before she pushed their heads together.

"I'll be back later 'Reo," the girl said, grabbing a jacket to help her against the cold as she walked out of her room and down to the front door before disappearing out of the mansion.

"Lee!" Marlene yelled, seeing her best friend appear and waving her hand in the air to get the girls attention.

Lora walked over to her best friend, engulfing her in a hug before they started walking to Gladrags Wizardwear and meeting Minerva McGonagall with smiles on their faces. The Peverell girl walked straight up to the woman and wrapped her arms around her.

Despite only having left Hogwarts a few days ago, Lora had missed the woman she looked up to as her mother. Evelyn Peverell had been speaking to her more than usual, though it was only about wedding details and would ignore her every other time.

"I wasn't aware you had a daugher Minerva," the witch who would be helping aid the group of women find a dress spoke, watching the interaction between the two.

Minerva chuckled, "not biologically," she said, "but Loralie is the closest I will have, and she deserves something perfect for her wedding," she continued, looking down at the girl who still had her arms wrapped around her.

The witch smiled at that, "well let's get started, shall we?" she asked, leading the group toward a rack housing all of the dresses they had, "this is all that we have, though we can alter whatever one you like to be everything you've ever dreamed of," Lora nodded and went to look through the dresses silently, "when is the wedding?"
