Chapter 4
I stood in a large meadow of roses. I rolled my eyes at the kiss-ass move and turned to look for the bastard that brought me here and ruined my peaceful night’s sleep.
"Adrian, get your idiotic, perverted dream ruining ass out here." I said my voice rising angrily. I looked around, he knew I was pissed and was probably going to punch him when I saw his face. He appeared and walked from behind a large tree with his hands up in the air calling a truce. Or that’s what I thought until I saw his conniving little smirk.
"So little damphir, I saw the cradle-robber leaving your room tonight, were you doing anything illegal?" he said wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, his smirk still plastered on his face. I knew he wasn't calling a truce; he was just protecting his precious face.
"You are such a creep! What were you doing outside my room you stalker! And not that it's any of your business, but he was there to tell me that training starts again tomorrow morning." I said with a smile on my face.
"I'm sure that's what he-," he stopped abruptly and started looking at me strangely.
"Hey!—what are you staring at –hello." I waved my hand, but he just continued to stare at me.
"There's something weird about your aura." He said finally said looking confused.
"Is it darkness? Is Lissa ok?!" I started panicking; hoping Liss wasn't going over the edge.
"No, no it's not that, um I have to go." he said, starting to let go of the dream.
"Hey wait what's going on?" I screamed, but it was no use he was gone and I was back in one of my random dreams.
I woke with a weird feeling really strange, but just thought it was something with how Adrian ended the dream last night. I looked at the clock I still had 45 minutes until training. Wow, I usually didn't wake up until a good fifteen minutes after training started. I figured I was just hungry so I quickly got ready so I could stop by the cafeteria to get hopefully get my hands on some chocolate glazed donuts. I was giddy when I got the last three and ate them on the way to the gym. I finished the third one and was downing a bottle of chocolate milk as I walked in the gym. Dimitri was rolling out the sparring mats giving me a nice view of his backside. Yum, I thought. I stood there soaking it in for a few minutes before he turned around a jumped back not expecting to see me standing there.
"What are you doing?" he asked standing with his arms crossed and an eyebrow rose looking at me curiously.
"Enjoying the view." I said, giving him a seductive smile. He shook his head amused by my comment.
"I mean what are you doing here?" He asked again. Now I was confused at what he was getting at.
"Um- hello! You said we were training today." I told him with a "Duh" look on my face.
"Ya we are but your twenty minutes early, and your never early, is everything okay?" He asked looking at me strangely,
"I'm fine I just woke up an hour early, I was hungry, I went to get some donuts and now I'm here so let's just do this." I said and threw my hands up exasperated.
"Okay then. You know the drill ten laps around the track and then stretch. We'll be doing hand to hand combat today." He said. I smiled to myself; I love hand to hand, just another reason to get hot and sweaty with my hot and sexy Russian.
"Can't wait" I said winking at him before quickly jogging to the track.
