Ok so it's been like three months since I posted in this book so uh....

Ah Switzerland, truly the most chillest country you'll ever encounter.
If you need to hide from a country that wants to strangle you, just go to him and he'll offer you a a hiding spot.
Some people will say that he's entitled and selfish for not supporting a side during a conflict, but in general, he doesn't give a fuck and just minds his own business as he knows it won't screw him over in the future or get himself at the pearly gates. Or he's just unaware about his situation.
The last time Swizterland was actually in action during war is during the Napoleonic War era. The rest is just him saying, "here's the supplies, now leave me tf alone," refuses the elaborate any further and leaves.
He's actually very rich (considering on how he has bombs planted around his entire house and property which is a reference to how Swizterland has bombs ready around its border if a country tries invading them) but he just prefers to live in a cottage close the woods since it's the most peaceful spot he can get.
He use to live where most of the European countries live, however considering that WW1 and 2 took place there, he moved to said cottage before The Cold War occurred.
Also he didn't want another incident where countries, *coughs* America, Britain and Third *coughs*, keep having their stuff (Air Force) fly over his property like what happened in WW2. So in return, he got himself a gun and just shot down anything that wasn't alive flying over his property.
He's the type of person to be taking a walk whilst listening to music and drinking coffee, as an apocalypse is happening behind him goes unnoticed while Mr. Blue Sky is playing in the background. Then when he finally becomes semi-aware of the situation he's going to question why everyone is running. He's the type of person who'll make themselves popcorn and watch people fight to the death as if they're an action movie.
If anyone tries to like break in, say like a serial killer or a robber, he'll ask them to sit down and see if they need to talk to someone on how they ended up in this situation. In which this makes him act like a therapist. In fact, to some countries, he's the number one country to go to vent since he's literally neutral on everything (with the exception of certain crimes he's against).
Occasionally, if it's something abnormal he'll be used as a human shield since countries will hide behind him for protection. Why? Literally anything harmful will go around him whilst he's just sitting there drinking coffee or popcorn.
He also has two Chinchillas, Toast and Sally, that Brazil gave him since the Chinchillas were abandoned. Brazil was going to take them in, however he's aware of how loud it can be in his house and Scar the Jaguar exists, which could give the chinchillas a panic attack despite Scar having the mental mindset of a golden retriever. So his best bet was Swizterland.
Some CH think he's a Disney princess since whenever he's sitting close to something prominently the wild, an animal shows up and hangs around for a few minutes
Out of the Empire's Children generation, (Ex: Spain, Portugal, Britain, France, Roach, Soviet and etc), he's the most sane one with the least amount of trauma.
It's assumed the only way to break his calm character is by having him take care of, you guess it, kids
In one chapter of From The Other Side, Switzerland has to babysit some of the village children and take them to places since they were getting adopted soon. But since the kids were bickering on what to do, he got easily frustrated.
Sure, he's a calm and chill guy, some will tho k he's the ideal babysitter, but he's not a kid person since he sees them as noisy and annoying. Like, he'll drive to McDonald's, order a cup of coffee and then leave when the village kids are screaming for McDonald's.
If you ask him to babysit your kids, he'll politely decline and recommend you to ask Britain, France, Spain or Portugal for the babysitting job considering how they somehow managed to survive taking care of all of the affair children that their parents had.
As for who his parents are...nobody knows. He just popped out of nowhere, but it's rumored that he was born from human parents, instead of one CH and a human.
Every CH knows to avoid his property just in case they accidentally trigger the bombs and the entire place explodes. So he's pretty much left alone.
If you ever stumble upon a bunker during the apocalypse and enter it, you'll most likely see him reading a book and just chilling as if humanity isn't dying above him.
