Uh, I gotta feed this book.

Most of the time when people die, they go into the Afterlife (ex: Heaven and Hell) based off of whatever they believe in. However, things are a bit different for the CH.

Ghosts in this world (and the Operation Eclipse: 1989) only manifest when something in their life was incompleted or have too much vengeance.

The dead CH don't really go anywhere in terms of afterlife. They stay as ghosts and aimlessly wander around in the town as they have some sort of goal that they couldn't finish before they were killed.

Half of the time is them getting murdered or the Collapse Disease as they usually don't die from fatal accidents that humans usually succumb to.

There may be two questions that nobody asked:

"But won't it be like crowded for the ghosts considering that there have been so much countries before today?"

"Won't there be conflict?"

CH ghosts can only see their relatives who have died and/or whoever killed them (if the killer is a CH and has also died)/whoever they killed.

For example:

Carthage and Roman Empire may not be related, but the two can see each other as Carthage was killed by the Roman Empire. Which means the two can throw hands at each other even as ghosts.

Weimar still sees Third (when he was ghost) since they're related (or technically half-brothers as Weimar is the son of G.E and Austria-Hungary and Third is the son of G.E and Mary Eddies). However, even if the two weren't halfway related, Weimar will still see Third regardless as Third was the one who killed him by sniping him. So either way, Weimar is cluelessly on whose his killer is.

When Yugoslavia and Fascist were ghosts, they couldn't throw hands at each other as neither of them are related nor killed each other.

Due to this, it eliminates some conflict.

However, if a CH had no relatives and failed to produce any children, it can be really lonely for them as they can't make contact with any other dead people. It would also be a very annoying situation if the only person they can see in the afterlife is the CH who killed them.

When a CH is a ghost, they cannot hear the living talk for some reason. So you can freely talk shit about a certain country who's dead without fearing they may haunt you and make your food explode every-time you try cooking something (totally not referring to a certain country that rhymes with onion who R.E haunts and curses him with exploding food).

This also means that axis (when they were ghosts) could not hear their very own children talk shit about them.

However, ghosts are able to hear other ghosts that they can see.

CH ghosts cannot interact with stuff. In fact, CH ghosts, including the ones when Roman Empire was alive, is kinda fond with modern technology. However, if they were revived, they'll definitely do not know how to use it.

Unless you're Holy Roman Empire.

"Wait, wasn't she killed by Napoleonic France? Why is she getting the special treatment?"

Well, H.R.E so happens to be a literal demon. So, she's dead, but not actually dead. She just chooses to not suddenly revive her wounded corpse and stays as her ghost form to not draw suspicion. Unlike other ghosts, she (and Vatican as he so happens to be a Bible accurate angel) can see everyone else despite her not being related to them/killed them.
