(Shade's POV)

I slept peacefully next to Tox under the tree that Lloyd was in. I still couldn't believe Kai didn't want to start the revolution like the other tributes. I heard a faint sawing sound, but I was so tired, I ignored it.

(Toxikita's POV)

I opened my eyes and looked at Shade who was still asleep. I looked up at the tree, but my vision was still sleepy so I couldn't see him. I shrugged and went back to sleep.

(Luna's POV)

I could barely stay awake. Both Shade and Tox were asleep. Kai was still awake. I almost fell asleep sitting there.

(Lloyd's POV)

As I carefully sawed the branch holding up the Tracker Jacker nest, I glanced down at the alliance every now and then. Tracker Jackers are kind of like wasps, but bigger. They're genetically engineered and their sting causes excruciating pain, hallucinations, and in extreme cases - death. I started sawing quicker when a Tracker Jacker stung my hand. That disturbed the nest even more and I was stung twice more before the branch was about to fall. I was stung once on the neck and once on my wrist. The branch finally broke and the nest fell to the ground. The Tracker Jackers were angry and they started to buzz loudly around the alliance. I almost started laughing at their reaction. Kai immediately started running. The Master of Darkness didn't hesitate and started running as well. But Master of Shadow and the Master of Poison started swatting at the Tracker Jackers.

"We gotta go," Cole said. "Those Tracker Jackers will try to find someone else to sting once those four are gone."

I nodded and jumped to the tree Cole was in.

"We can't go to the ground yet or else they'll sting us," he said.

"Yeah," I agreed. As we jumped from tree to tree, my vision started to blur. My head started spinning. It seemed like Cole was getting further away every time he jumped. The trees were spread out a lot more. When I tried to jump for a tree that was kind of far away, I ended up running into a tree that I didn't see before. I shook my head. Luckily I landed on a branch. Cole looked back at me and started to come back to me. I heard the faint sound of a cannon and then everything went dark.
