Kayla's POV (Kayla doesn't know Kai is trying to kill Lloyd too so give her some wiggle room :p)
I didn't need to worry about finding water. The water basically found me. I did need to find some food though. There had been four deaths today. Two from the large fire, and I don't know how the other two had died. The sun was just beginning to touch the horizon. I made a fire, for it was getting cold. I knew I would have to put it out soon though. As I sat beside the fire, a glimmer of gold caught my eye. It was the pin that Lloyd have me. I took the pin off and looked at it. I softly smiled. I wasn't worried about Lloyd. He'd make it out alive with everyone on his team. There are only three people trying to kill him. Shadow, Poison, and Darkness. What else would you expect? Three of many things that I'm afraid of. I hope Lloyd is okay. There were twenty tributes when we started. Seven were dead in the first day. And there were four more today. That made nine tributes left. Only nine? It feels like more should be alive. This made me nervous. That means only five will be trying to protect Lloyd. That number will be one less if I don't do anything. If I stay here and defend myself, Lloyd might not make it out. I put out the fire and started to go look for Lloyd as the anthem started playing.
