A/N: So this is my new Bronnor/Trames story, it will be from Con's POV and i'm v v excited to get this started

"Have I ever told you how your mom and I met?"
My dad spoke as I walked into the kitchen from our back yard.
I held a wounded bird in my hand and walked to the sink to try to fix up it's wing.
"No you havent', we never speak of mom remember?"
I spoke out as I turned towards my dad.
He smiled a weak smile as he read over a letter.
"Well it's time we do"
"Can I take care of this little guy first?"
I asked while exanimating the bird.
My dad smiled.
"Sure kiddo"
I rolled my eyes.
Kiddo, I'm 17. I'm not a kid anymore.
I loved my dad though, I never knew my mom.
He raised me all my life, we had made the rule to never talk about my mom.
Of course I was curious but I held to myself and decided not to speak up about it like we had agreed.
I took some band aid and taped up the bird's wing after I had disinfected it and walked outside to set the bird carefully down on the little fountain we had.
I always loved our garden, our house wasn't the biggest, it didn't have to be because it was only me and my dad.
Our garden was always my little get-away.
It had a little patio and was covered in grass for the rest.
A few trees were placed carefully, creating a forest feel.
It also had a swing attached to one tree, I always sat on it whenever I wanted to think or was feeling sad.
It was my little palace and I loved it.
Still do.
So do the animals, I can't remember a time when there weren't animals in it.
Birds and squirrels were always to be found.
I took a deep breath before walking back into our kitchen.
"You remind me of her you know?"
I hummed as I took an apple and sat across from my father.
"Your mother didn't leave us just because Con. She had to"
I had come to a point in my life that I didn't really care about her anymore.
But like I wasn't angry with her either.
I never knew her so why would I?
I took a bite from my apple as I looked at my dad, waiting for him to start of his story.
"We met in a park, I was going out with some of my friends and I was kind of tipsy"
He seemed to beam up at the memory.
"We were walking out of a club and were going to the next one.
As we walked we came across a little park, that was where I first saw your mother.
She had a deer standing next to her, the floor was crowded with birds as she threw them bread with the biggest smile ever on her face. She lit up the world Connor
