MANSI's POV:

Never!

Never in my entire life have I ever argued with a teacher. Never, I repeat. I've always been this obedient little child who never back answers to anyone and just leams to abide and go with the flow. It's not that I do that to attain any teacher's attention or something, it's just my nature. Aunt Aayat says that this part of my nature is a gift from my mom. And if she's the one who says that, it truly must be true.

Aunt Aayat and maa have been the best of friends this century could ever witness. It feels as if their soul is one which has been split into two parts and then been filled into two different bodies. Sometimes, I do long for a girl best friend like that but I am happy with my fool beside me. And as for a girl best friend, I have Shanvi beside me, though no one could match the legend of Tejal and Aayat.

Yeah, so coming back to back answering, ufff that was a whole new experience for me. And I didn't feel bad to be honest. I am not telling that back answering a teacher is good but what she did was wrong. Judging a person just by his or her grades is totally not cool and people need to understand that. A person who might not be that great at studies, Can be a total kick ass in their own talent. And Shantanu could totally kick anyone's ass in dance and the way this guy plays guitar, Uff.. I have no words. He's a total blockbuster package and people need to understand that grades and marks are not everything. And Shantanu had decent grades as well, he could top the test even if he tries hard like me. But that's his choice. He prefers to engage more in co curricular and I totally get it as his interest is clearly visible.

Okay, I think I should stop fangirling now. But this idiot for sure knew how to convince me. And after today's incident with the teacher, by looking at the way he stood up for me, I was now sure that he wouldn't let me be tormented by anyone. He would always be there for me.

My heart started to swell up with this thought as I kept my head on the table and started scribbling hearts on it. I was lost in my own little world when I heard the chair beside me moving a bit. I lifted my head to see what was going on and what I saw made me happy and shocked at the same time.

Shantanu and Shanvi had switched seats and now, I had shantanu all to myself. Though I was hella excited, I tried to keep my composure all calm and suited. I was looking at him while he placed his bag properly and turned towards me only to give a wide mouthed smile which had all his 32 teeth in display. I gave him a light smile too. He came closer and ruffled my hair to which I reacted by pushing his hand away.

SHANTANU: mela panda abhi bhi naalaaz hai mujhsee? *baby voice*

(is my panda still upset with me?)

MANSI: Paan thuk ke baat kar.

(speak properly)

SHANTANU: Itne pyaar se mana raha hu tujhe. Kadar krle meri tu.

(I am trying to convince you so sweetly. Value me atleast a bit.)

MANSI: Teri kadr karti hu tabhi itni jaldi maan gayi warna toh tu himalaya jata sanyaas pe tab bhi naa maanti.

(I value you that is why I got convinced so easily. Or else I wouldn't be convinced even if you would go to the Himalayas and live as a saint.)

SHANTANU: garam ladki.

(angry woman.)

MANSI: Seedha seedha bol hot hu mai.

(Tell directly that I am hot.)

Ok, I wasn't expecting myself to utter something like that. Not.at.all.

This is totally something that I would never say. And after looking at his reaction, I could say that he was shocked as well. His mouth was wide opened and his face looked pale.
